I read that in Samara's voice, but with a Russian accent, à la Heavy Weapons Guy: "I will need many boolet."

That's a thought...

I hope it's better than that Firewalker Pack. I assume it will be since they will charge for it. I have bought all of the previous DLC if for anything, just for the satisfy my curiosity. It's been rather inexpensive anyway, but they need to deliver some significant content with these. I don't like having to wait on 3 DLC's to add enough overall content to make it worth while to play it. Bring us some BIG DLC's Bioware.

Are you assuming this from past DLC history, or do you have some inside info?

I've already decided my overlord squad. Samara and Garrus. Garrus for his overload, and Samara for being Samara.

I hope they improve the squadmate balance somewhat in the DLC, as I'd hate to deny my biotics some time in the field again because there were mechs, geth, and shields everywhere.

Guess that's just the downside of playing on the higher difficulties. Would prefer to take out Team Biotic Awesome (Samara/Thane) more often.

If the character is interesting, then I wouldn't think age would matter.

Reave is good against everything.  Unprotected inorganics last about as long as unprotected organics anyway.  Strip off the defenses with Reave, then go for the headshots.  Plus, I play a Sentinel with Heavy Overload, Reave as a bonus power, and Assault Rifles, so in general, things are easy.

I love reave, especially when Samara says "Your life is mine." Gives me goosebumps. JohnnyDollar, I like your new avatar. The Asari Counselor is very beautiful.

With Sentinal, I usually put points into Warp and use either AP or Warp ammo for a bonus power.

I like Samara to use Reave. I find it overpowered for Shepard to be using it. But Samara is all about overpowering, she's that strong a biotic.

Actually, do you think the Illusive Man picked Samara because she is supposed to be exceptionally strong for a biotic, even by Asari standards?

I always found the Illusive Man's choice of a Justicar in the dossiers odd given that they're typically set to the Code and working in Asari space. Unless he somehow manipulated Morinth into Council space just to draw Samara out, too, so that Shepard could have the opportunity to recruit her. Better he had given Shepard Morinth's location to start with as a bargaining tool.

The Overlord DLC is supposed to be around 2 1/2 hours. That's 2 1/2 more hours with Samara in my squad. This pleases me.

And from the looks of it, it seems it will be story-driven (even if not character-driven, like Kasumi or Zaeed). That's a full notch above Firewalker... Image IPB

I really think TIM would manipulate that much. I could see him sending Veetor to Freedom's Progress because he wanted to see if a quarian would get abducted too. And then sent Tali when it happend.

Yeah, she is suppose to be a fierce warrior biotic by any standards I believe, in lore anyway.

I  wouldn't put anything past TIM.

I'm pretty sure TIM chose Samara for her biotics. @DOYOURLABS, I don't think he can manipulate things that much.

if this was true, and Shepard knew this but Samara didn't, do you think she would be better off not knowing that a very unjust man (TIM, to be clear) is indirectly responsible for her having accomplished one of her most vital life-goals?

Ooo. I wonder hoe she'd react to that. Shocked. Surprised. Speechless. I think she might credit Shepard though. Shepard made it possible for her to actually catch Morinth.

Well, by her own admission, Samara doesn't really know much about Cerberus. I doubt she'd even question where Shepard got the location... Oh wait, but she might press her boot down on his neck until Shepard told her the location. Maybe starting with Morinth's location isn't the best bargaining method afterall.

Really, the question is about morality and friendship.  If Shepard knows that Samara would be honest with him, and withold no information from him, would he be morally remiss for not telling Samara the source of the information, in this hypothetical situation?

Not doing so would be withholding the truth.  That's deception.   He would have to live with the guilt of knowing the truth, and the guilt of not telling Samara the truth.

Telling Samara would throw her in to a moral quandary  (she was empowered by the unjust to do good).  Samara, however, seems like a by-whatever-means-necessary kind of gal.

I'd tell her.  She deserves to know.  The truth may hurt, but it is the truth.  All the more reason for Sole-Survivor Shepard to go kick TIM's head in, and this time, with Samara helping.

EDIT:  Added some stuff.
