Is there a fanfic that centers around Samara's early pursuit of Morinth. Would be an interesting one I reckon, one that could show her resolve and strong will, and getting experience through her failures.

Would ya'll be mortally terrified if I tried my hand at one? :D

Im no fiction writer, I've dabbled in it a little bit, but no where near Ashira or Kudara :D

But I have a couple ideas in my head that I might just put to the paper, just giving ya'll a heads up.

Well there was this one dialogue hinted at earlier, about Samara ulltimately needing Shepard to do her deed. Even Kasumi says something to the effect of "she couldn't have done it without you". Is it possible that Samara was holding back at going through with this, fearing the final confrontation. Because I mean after 400 years of doing something and failing, or letting it slip through, doesn't it sort of become sort of a mental and emotional block that you can't get through. She could very well keep being strong willed and determined, but it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy if you think about it for so long. "Am I ever gonna catch her, put an end to this, is it meant to be?".

Then Shepard comes along, someone who actually willingly helps her to do this, it may have restored a sense of faith in her, like maybe I can do this. Not saying she needed encouraging because I'm sure she came to terms long time ago that she was going to kill her daughter, but a final jolt to get her to go through with it. She needed that more than anything.

I dont know where i was going with that, but yea..that something innit?

Interesting thought. I really like the relationship between Shepard and Samara. They make good friends for each other.

That is an interesting thought.  Unless I am forgetting something, this very well could have been the intent by the writers.  Someone to provide that little bit of emotional support to enable her to complete the final act.  She is very proud, and obviously showed somewhat of an unwillingness to ask for and take help from Shepard.  She may have finally come to realize that she does indeed need help and therefore asks for it.  Once she does have the help, it gives her more strength and courage to complete the task.

Well, I guess it was a good thing that Shepard was there to coach Samara into a positive mental additude huh.

I find it very interesting how the advertisement on Zakera level 28 recognises a romantic interest in Samara.

You'd think that Samara wouldn't appear in any databases anywhere.  Not "existing" can only help a person who does what she does.  I'm sure there are a lot of people out there angry at her who have been indirectly affected by her.

That brings up another point - Why and how the heck does everyone know she's a Justicar?  Does she have to present herself to the local police and law-enforcement?  That last one makes the most sense.  If so, the police aren't doing her any favors in spreading the information around, since everyone seems to know about her.

Yeah... this guy is John Shepard (Shepard number 4).  He is a vanguard, sole survivor, spacer, paragon, saved everyone: council, rachni queen, WREX, feros colonists, Shiala, Ashley.

Mine is exactly the same, except I saved Kaidan and I was a war hero.
EDIT: I hate missing two pages of conversation :pinched:

Yeah. I wish we had more to talk about, but the game only gave us so much. We could try guessing her face's exact shade of blue? Image IPB

As I once did in the Liara thread, this is where I start with a little game called...
Five Things Nobody Knows About Samara that you just made up
1. Samara is the youngest of six siblings. The other five are cooks.
2. Samara makes a special visit to her other two daughters once a century.
3. Samara hates arachnid-type creatures. She might find the new Rachni Queen honorable, but she still has images of crushing the Queen under her heel.
4. Samara lost a bet with a Krogan a couple centuries back. She is required to wear her current outfit for five centuries as a fulfillment of the bet.
5. Samara also likes dark places and dark rhythms.

Just another reason why Samara is my bro.  Arthropods can go die.

On her recruitment mission everyone seemed to know that a Justicar was running about. In one way that itself is a deterrent to crime, because the criminals would know they have Super Cop snooping around.

Or the criminals would just move elsewhere for the time being.  Same effect as with CCTV  monitoring.  The problem isn't gone, just relocated.

If the criminals decided to jump her for being around, I'm sure she would relish the fight.

You know what I found lame was that people on Illium seemed to know notorious assassin Thane Krios was running about. Must suck to be such a famous assassin.

I imagine people calling after Thane on the streets, and it made me laugh.

Dude 1: "Dude, that's Thane Krios!  That guy's awesome!  Did you get the DLC for Assassin Wars XI where you can play as him?"
Dude 2: "Nah, man.  I'm not paying for that shiz.  I'll just pirate it."
Thane: "..."

They may be of no consequence, but at least this poll made me think. Poll for most expressive face for a female character in ME2.

This poll means everything to me. I have had to rethink and redefine my idea of expressive. And face. It's blowing my mind, man. It's blown.

I wouldn't say Samara has the most expressive face, but I will say she has the most nuanced face. She tries to keep her emotions in check, but when she does let some emotion break through, she does it very subtlely. I like that about her.

I'd agree. Rare and very slight, though quite meaningful.

What made me laugh is how die hard the Tali fans truly are... since they say she has the most expressive face.  I'm a Samara fan but I voted for Miranda because I think she has the most expressive face (tied with Jack).

You should create a poll NICK.  Asking who has the most beautiful face, then list 3 supermodels and Tali.

Well to be fair, supermodels don't always have the best face, but I see where your comming from Johnny. I giggled to myself after seeing the results of that poll, personally I voted for Ash.
