I second this claim. Also worth playing is the brilliant Half-Life: Portal if you get the Orange Box
Quite possibly the most addictive game I ever played ^

Yeah I got that game. I have The Orange Box through Steam. Bought it about a year or so ago real cheap. It isn't really my type of game though. Shooters give me headaches.yorkj86 wrote...

I like RPG's and Strategy games for the most part.
Nothing wrong with that, I've had quite the adventures with games like Grim Fandango and Monkey Island.

What happened to the talk about the Justicar Order and Asari Society? I didn't run everybody off did I?
Maybe there is nothing else to talk about concerning this.
Plus my attention span is short. Now I don't remember what we were talking about.
Oh right, the Justicars place in modern asari society. Well, Samara does admit it's a bit antiquated in a galaxy that sees everything in grey. The asari stress on harmonious relations with alien species and a respect for alien culture and varied thinking. The Code does not allow for such cultural differences, everything should be as the Code allows. There is tradition and romanticism in the asari's respect of the Justicar, I suppose. The Justicar Order must have been incredibly powerful in its day, probably all the way up until the asari first met the salarians. The lengthy asari lifespan probably slows the decline of the Justicar way, it was not so many lifetimes ago when the asari were on their own.

Stumbled across something, nothing major, but a piece of Samara dialogue I haven't encountered; Samara answering the call when Shepard calls for a status report to the team holding the line. It's right at the beginning too, check it out if you want.
I wonder what order Samara is in when it comes to who answers the call. I know Thane is at the top of the list if he's still alive at that point.

At one time, I could imagine that the Justicar Order was the standard in ancient Asari society concerning crime and punishment. Similar to a knight in the Dark Ages I suppose. The story seems to portray the Justicar Order as somewhat of a dying breed in Asari society I think. Well respected, but doesn't quite fit currently.Pacifien wrote...

Yeah... they are still heroes to many Asari but Asari society seems to be progressing more quickly than the Justicar Order.

Eventually I'll do my bloodbath suicide run so I can hear Grunt's call. Happy Krogan is happy. When everyone is dead.
