I think the Code is an extension of asari law, but they are not necessarily one in the same. I know it's not a lot; just my two cents.

Do you think Samara's headwear or outfit is evocative of the Justicar Order to the asari? I mean, how do they know when there is a Justicar about? Take the Justicar's word for it? Are there few enough Justicars that their identities are all known? Do they project a certain Justicar aura?

I wonder about projecting different auras, since that's how the Rachni Queen's asari liason was able to identify Shepard. It make me wonder if there is something asari can sense in organic beings that is unique to the asari.

When the asari calls out to you, she says she recognized you because of your aura. So it's before she starts channeling the Rachni Queen's message.



But really, I want to know how everyone is supposed to know when they've got a genuine Justicar around. Given how much influence a Justicar possesses, I'd want assurance it's an actual Justicar and not someone (*cough*Morinth*cough*) playing one.

Kasumi also says she recognizes shep by his aura. "I sensed your aura, like you've seen and experienced things no one else has" or something to that effect.
