I invoke a denial. My krant stands against this idea. Samara is a perfectly good name.

It would have been better if it was right after his eyes popped out.

I just noticed her forehead doodads are red in that picture.  They're supposed to be silver/gold with the black outfit.

Some women in their 40s are attractive so that isn't a concern here.  However her face is modelled after a woman who is in her mid-20s.  Also... some of us are not 18 year old kids so we enjoy the "older" squad mates.

So now I'm doing a comparison of Thane and Samara in the Thane thread. They make for two interesting approaches to their lives as efficient killers.

Mostly it comes from the idea of whether or not Thane killed innocents. I think, from his very profession, rather obvious that he did kill innocents. In much the same manner that Samara says she doesn't stop to think of her target as a devoted father, Thane also has little reason to stop and think about the morality of the people he's sent to kill. However, unlike Samara's sense of justice, his own motivation is simply to be the weapon that another person wields. It's not about justice, the people can be evil just as easily as they are good, it's all about what his employer wants. Did he really have a choice in his employers, though? Who exactly were the Hanar that trained him? He implies it was the government itself.

But that's really more of a discussion about Thane. I just like the dichotomy and similarities between the two.

Oh, there is the point that Samara says she feels for every death she's had a hand in. Thane says he usually feels nothing at all for his targets, but seems to have recently developed deeprooted feelings of guilt for whoever suffered along the way. I'm a bit more curious about Samara's approach in this, as she says the Justicar Code does not exist to bring about spiritual enlightenment. What exactly does she feel then? Just the general sense of loss for any life, no matter who it was?

This brings us back to Samara as both Lawful Good and Lawful Neutral.  Samara might want to be compassionate (Lawful Good), but she can't, because of the Code (Lawful Neutral), and also because she is so composed and stoic.

Thane is Chaotic Good?    Maybe True Neutral.  He considers himself to be a weapon.  A weapon cannot be good or evil, or any alignment.   A weapon is just a weapon, inanimate and impotent when not used.  I don't entirely agree with this.   Thane is capable of morality.   He is a living weapon, as much as he might take pride in being called that.  He can choose when to kill and when not to kill.  A weapon doesn't have that choice.

It's what seperates the men from the boys.;) Perhaps a younger character such as Tali, would better suit your needs.

It was ok.  No, I never let her kill me.

I recently just put in a moded ini that enables all of the classes to have all of the weapons.  It also enables the squadmates to carry different weapons.  I just finished Mordin's recruitment mission.  Zaeed has the Revanant and the Widow, while Miranda has the AR and SMG.  It's kinda cool to have a little bit of a change up.
