As long as we talk about Samara in some form, we are ok. I did start a thread in the group about the movie though. The old Ashley thread was closed because of movie discussion, and 12 of it's last 15 pages had nothing to with Ashley according to Woo.

Actually, would it be more important to capture the look of Samara, or the voice of Samara? I'd want that calming, commanding voice more.

Both... but I think it is most important that if she is in the movie (which won't be likely) that she be portrayed by someone who is at least in their early 40's.

I think voice more, but ideally both (her eyes have to be perfect). It's very important they capture her essence so to speak. She gives off peace and tranquility and there is an elegance to her body movements. Quite the task. If they wanted to do the movie with the original characters, then I think CGI is the way to go. If they want live actors, then I think creating completely new characters is the way to go.

Technically, I can, but I'd rather not, since it was a direct request that I not post the concept sketches anywhere.  Also, she asked nicely.
