Technically, I can, but I'd rather not, since it was a direct request that I not post the concept sketches anywhere.  Also, she asked nicely.

Oh, just the in-progress stuff, you mean? I can understand that, I suppose.

Restricting the final work would be absurd, though.

But the antici...pation!  Cue Tim Curry!

That's not Tim Curry.

Your right, I just deleted.  I don't want to post too many links, or people won't check them out.
And yes, I did go and see "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" in the theatre when I was a teenager.

No, I'll be posting the final product here.

Hey, I don't dislike that picture. It's tasteful. Stuff I've found elsewhere, like a website whose address starts with P and ends with L, makes me sad and angry.

anyhoo, I was only half serious about that, I personally am not too thrilled about a ME movie if they go live action. It needs to be CGI ala Avatar, but we all know that won't happen. what else is going on yall?

They won't/can't appreciate a morally ambiguous Lawful Good/Lawful Neutral character.  Everything has to be edgy and grimdark and straightforward.  Samara's calm, soothing voice can't hold their attention, so they have to go listen to Mordin speak for fifteen minutes or so.

I think what his real objection should be is that there isn't a deeper approval system ala Dragon Age.

I haven't read into that thread too much, but the gist seems to be that she's too rigid and cold. We're supposed to appreciate her virtuosity, but that's the thing. Part of it is "self-discipline", which is something the younger generation, and society as a whole is going on to neglect more and more. Its a characteristic that is most difficult to relate to, am I right guys? Or am I totally off base?

Then he would complain that he has to work for the respect and approval of his teammates, instead of just watching a blue or red bar will up.

It could be that, but it doesn't have to be. I don't think that their code is infallible, nor should her code be thought as infallible.

Character hate threads are good once in awhile. Look at the character from a different perspective. Odds are you aren't going to convince the haters, but I'm just using their view to further define my view of the character. Look at the good and bad. Spend too long in a support thread, you start thinking the character can do no wrong and has become integral to the very core of the story.

Only if their dislike of the character (or aspect of character)is justified and researched. Which is often not the case with the hate/dislike threads - especially since they are often not to intelligently protest a part of the character, but instead to annoy.

The op is in la la land.  Samara makes those comments to you depending on your renegade points.  It a flaw in the game, not the character.

Stay on topic.... has anyone tried modding Samara with differen weapons. I gave her a revenant machine gun and I swear that thing was a big as she is. Modding is fun. I'm thinking of modding singularity and warp into her character. That would be fun.... it would be Liara 2.0

Well you know what, I'm going to do a list of what I like about Samara, and it will be articulate because I've had enough of this nonsense:

- I like that she follows an unwavering Code of justice. That is what she does. Yet still is able to be wonderfully charming and graceful, that is what we come to find as who she is. I like that I'm able to separate the two.

- I like that she meditates on the day's events. For as long as she has lived she is still encouraged to pick apart the infinite space between the seconds and minutes in the day and keep all those she may have killed in her thoughts

- I like her self-discipline,it contrasts well with some of the "loose cannons" of the squad

- I like that she unflinchingly says how proud she is of her bravest, smartest, sinister, hedonistic daughter. A mother can always see through the best and worst qualities of their children

- I like that she doesn't want to get involved with Shepard, but in that moment gives him perhaps the greatest moment of intimacy and loss he/she may have ever felt.

- I like that after atleast 600 years of madness, sorrow, and struggle, she can find peace sitting on the Observation Deck after killing her daughter, and looking forward to finishing Shepard's mission

- I like that she will come for me

^ feel free to add yall

Exactly, that's the best way to put it.
