Shepard: I think...I think they've exhausted everything there is to talk about...
Samara: But...those other characters threads go far passed 320...

Shepard: Yeah...with talk about undead bunnies.
Samara: Point taken...

Why do you think the developers went
with Samara's forehead ornamentations versus the asari facial
markings?
To make her stand out. The same is true of Liara's eyebrows.
EDIT: Forgot the quotation.

What if Samara suffered retrograde amnesia and forgot all about her life before Justicaritry (yeh its a word now), would she become depressed you think, knowing that she is bound by this Code that compels her to stop evil, and hints at a large purpose she is supposed to pursue but unable to recall. Or would she continue on mindlessly hoping something hits her and she remembers what she is supposed to do.

I'd wonder why ME had turned from legitimate space-opera in to legitimate soap-opera. Amnesia...

There are girls here you know
Anyway...I thought it was cool that Wynne or Leliana could and would attack you for doing a certain thing. Dragon Age was better in terms of character interaction and story...
Moving on though. Have to say I'm glad they went with the ornaments; I figure it supposed to be an easier way of spotting Justicar's, so its their symbol or something.

Question: I´ve yet to play as a Renegade on ME2, i was wondering if Samara actually do step up to you to tell you that what you are doing is wrong. I know that when you recruit her she says that she may have to kill you after the mission is over if you make her do something extremely dishonorable. So i know it is not like Wynne in dragon age who actually tries to kill you if you do some evil things, but have anyone had Samara menace his shepard or get angry at it? I am too much of a paragon that i´ve not had any disagreement with Samara ever since i recruited her.
No, she's under the Third Oath of Subsumation, which is itself a convenient way for the writers to avoid confrontation between two important characters, which is dumb, since this is a roleplaying game. They did it in DA:O, I know why Alignment-based confrontations aren't more than just threats in ME2.

Then be ready for it, cause we know its gonna happen to Commander Shepard <_<
Shepard: Reaper what? Threat? I remember something about dismissing those claims...

I can say with certainty that I would absolutely hate that idea. It'd be like watching Soap Opera + Jason Bourne movie + Paladin in Space.
So, I say forget your idea. I'm writing this Samara and Ralph fanfic.

The clear middleastern tone given to Samara's theme in the game reminds me of the music composed by Brian Tyler for "Frank Herbert's Children of Dune" miniseries produced by the SciFi Channel:
"Inama Nushif": a beautiful piece for a Samara "romance" or death scene
"Farewell": same musical theme, instrumental, death/farewell/epilogue scene
"I Only Have Now": Samara's private grief and rage at the universe over her daughters' fate
"Sign of the Bene Gesserit": Samara recieves dire news, shares with Shepard, dreadful conclusions are drawn...
"Children of Dune": the "acknowledged but unconsummated romance" scene we envisionned in this thread
Ooh interesting choices.
You know I think Samara would relate to Billie Holiday and Nina Simone's music myself
They were both impossibly strong women who endured impossibly tough burdens, some self-inlficted. A lot of folk I know actually listened to their music in depressing periods of their life. Not that I think Samara is overtly depressed, but I like to think Asari have a propensity to ponder and brood over many moments in their lives from time to time. And Samara I think does quite a bit of this as she meditates. I wouldn't be surprised if you left a Lady Day record on as she meditates that she would bask in its ambiance without even noticing its playing. But again, not because she is a sad person or anything, just reflective.
