In planning my Samara & Ralph "quickfic", I thought I would have Samara suspend Ralph in a mass effect field mid-jump, because there are (for the sake of this fanfic) creatures similar to felines on Thessia who use light biotic fields to perform stunts of incredible acrobatics.
Unfortunately, Ralph, doesn't like it, and he does this, until Samara comes to help him:
That poor cat.

She wouldn't do it to be cruel to Ralph, she was just curious to see how he would handle it. When he doesn't take sudden weightlessness very well, she comes to help.

Was happy with where they left it in ME2. Was far more touched by her appreciation of my friendship and her vow to come for me whenever I need her more than any other of the romantic interludes.Auzden wrote...

Wouldn't complain too much, I think, if she suddenly became a romance option in ME3 so long as the writers don't cut dialogue with her short for the people who choose not to romance her.

There are strong opinions in this thread about a romance with Samara. Some of us like to think it shouldn't be done because the only way it could be done well and with justice to her character would put it, uh...over most people's heads due to its subtlety.

- the appeal in a Samara romance has to be its subtlety.
- It has to demonstrate Samara's propensity to be charming and graceful.
- Its content should be prominent in determining what makes both Samara and Shepard drift towards noble causes.
- Its purpose should be to find a middle ground between a platonic relationship and a romantic relationship
- its theme should be "betterment through personal hardships"
- It must feature Samara's half smiles and soul stirring glares
- It should make the player feel warmth, not giddiness
- it should not be arbitrary for her characters development
- It should not be a resolution, but a commencement of something greater
can I get a Amen!

I don't know how I feel about it really, you mean something like seeing Samara zipping down and embracing Shep or just some "flesh flashes" ala Liara? I really don't see either in her character. With Liara it was well done and appropriate for her, but I just don't see Samara doing all that. I mean she flat out says that she is not interested in sex for pleasure, and I believe her. So even when lured into a romantic encounter I think she would drift towards less suggestive actions.
Did that answer your question?
I think he was being silly.
I wouldn't want for there to be a sex scene. I like my "holding-hands-during-meditation" idea.

I wasn't being silly, when done with grace and sense, sex scenes can be very good in my opinion.
I was thinking somewhere along the lines on "Embrace Eternity" and mabye some well-done side flashs, and i believe it still is in her character, remember what she said about her maiden years.

but still, the idea of Samara rolling in the sack with straight-faced Sheploo makes me cringe.
Oh and if anything, Bioware has lost its flare for doing graceful sex scenes, see the "Engine Room"

If they just showed her nude back as she was standing and facing Shepard, or a three-quarter view. I'd be fine with that. No 'disrobing' body armor like Jacob did.
