yea that was the part I can't remember, I get into these little spills and ramble on and forget what I was talking about. I guess what I was trying to portray was that because Asari can live for so long and have somewhat defined life phases (maidan, matron, matriarch) that they have substantial changes in their personality over time. Maidan Samara could have been vastly different than the stoic, disciplined character we see now, and we have reason to believe that cause well...she says so. I dunno, then I used that to justify why she became a Justicar and whatnot, just don't worry bout it I guess the articulateness of that idea of mine has left my brain :(

People can be wild when they're younger but give up those activities when they set up for the rest of their lives.  I think Samara still has a wild side but she ignores it because she simply has no time left for all of that.  She's experienced some very profound things in her lifetime and all of them have changed her.

Yea, that's pretty much it. You can correspond it to changes in humans except its more broad in Asari because of how long they live. No doubt pieces of their personalities remain but the surface of their psyche is constanty changing because of the abundance of experiences they've had.

EDIT: you know for all the flack the Asari get for being blue skinned space babes...they continue to unravel into a wonderfully interesting conceptual race to me :D

Some more stuff I was able to dig up on Asari Biology.

Link

"Keep in mind that just because the asari are asexual this does not mean that they are biologically incompatible.

:devil:"

"I will try to explain this in the most broad biological terms as possible.

Asexual: Relating to, produced by, or involving reproduction that occurs without the union of male and female gametes, as in binary fission or budding.

Essentially, the asari race to not need a male gene donor to reproduce. They do still birth new asari (a more feminine looking asari as seen in our videos and comparable to a human female in many respects. They do still do a live birth as human mammals do (as opposed to some sort of egg laying or budding or whatever).

And I would not get bogged down in terms of "human males". The asari have been romancing many different races for centuries long before humans showed up. As has been pointed out, there is more to romance than sex
.

:devil:" - Chris Priestly

Another Link

"Asari are explicitly female.

<--- in-game Codex Writer, master of IP science" - Chris L'Etoile

Okay, not letting me quote today are you Socialnetwork? [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/bandit.png[/smilie]

@NICK
I just got it the other day, still going through the solo-game because
I'm not "teh l33t" or whatever. I like shooters, and COD always fit the
bill. Multiplayer is just a way to make me feel better about myself in a
rather insignificant way =P

@Makaveli XD lol...just lol.

shooters are fun... I just gave up on multiplayer in MW2 (too much hacking, camping and trash talking by 12 year old little boys).

According to the Cerberus Daily News, a movie was made about the incident on Akuze. I wonder if anyone thought to include the fact that Shepard was there.  Maybe Cerberus removed that fact from the proper information channels.

Have you been reading the Cerberus Daily New lately?  The stuff about the war going on with the Turians?  Do yo think that will be part of ME3 or one of the post game DLC's we've been promissed?

Not really.  These events are just put in to expand the universe.  The events sound very similar to events that have happened/are happening here on Earth.  The parallels are drawn to make the other species sound like they actually have their own things going on, instead of just waiting around to be effected by Shepard and the humans.

I imagine Shepard wearing clothes to hide his identity and sitting in the movie theater, constantly facepalming at the overblown, overdone theatrics.  "That's not how it happened!  I was there!"

TIM will make damn sure the name "Cerberus" never appears in the script or credits... As for Shepard, I guess tthat would depend on your chosen background. In any case, the story probably will focus on Cpl Toombs anyway...
