Squadmates say nothing. Though the researcher will say something about Legion if he is in your party when meeting him.
Yeah, I got that part, but I thought that it would be funny for Shepard to have to explain to Samara what Halloween is, given the context of the situation (which I won't explain here, because it would be spoiling stuff).
Also, who knew that AIs and the Geth like discordant, free-form jazz?

Playing the Overlord DLC right now. I won't spoil anything. A researcher mentions that one of his friends put on spare Geth parts for Halloween and ran around to scare everyone. I would have liked to hear Samara asking what "Halloween" is. But, she said nothing.
Ughhh... I hate the new dlc. What it comes down to... the guy wants ear plugs.

I just finished another game and played through Samara's "romance" for the first the first time. Incredibly well done. Felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest at a few points. Why couldn't this have been a full romance? Just transpose the last convo to before the relay and make the scene a bit longer, while still keeping the non-consummation/foribben aspect, and presto! Is it horrible that this is my favorite ME2 option for MaleSheps?

I believe waiting for romance until ME 3 will make it better.

No. It's a great scene, and the other three female LIs are degrees of "love her or hate her."

I know you from the Liara thread
I think that you're right in wanting the "romance" scene to take place before going through the Omega-4. As it is right now, it leaves the player with time to go screw around. It kind of detracts from how profound the rejection is. Samara was truly, deeply effected by Shepard's words.
I don't think that it's a bad thing that this is your favorite romance option for MaleSheps in ME2. If anything, it knocks the player down a notch. When Shepard's Kirk Genes can't get him whoever he wants, it's time to take notice of it.

I've always been a huge fan of both Liara and Samara...They're both very intriguing and beautiful characters, and I regret that Samara wasn't a major LI in ME2...
...But as was said before, if it's saved for ME3, it'll be even better.

I'd like to get the Overlord DLC. Sounds like it's interesting enough...I just wish there was more relationship changing/advancing moves in the DLC.
Hopefully that will be implemented in future releases.
Shep gets new lines for dialogue, but out-of-dialogue party banter is recycled or non-existent.

It would actually be really cool to see an expansion come out. I mean, significantly more variables are being brought into ME3 than were brought into ME2 from ME1...So there is going to be a lot more development/writing/analysis on the game as well as outcomes from events from both ME1 and 2. It's going to take quite a while for BioWare to get ME3 all together...And its not like BioWare doesn't know anything about expansions. A good expansion would be sweet.DirtyVagrant wrote...
I think the DLC would have to be extensive for Bioware to invest on bringing back all the VAs for additional dialogue. Like, expansion extensive.
Like new star clusters to explore, options to return to the Alliance and do some dirty work for them (Cerberus investigation-esque missions, like seek & destroy types and some of the "Land on the base, kill the mercs, take what's needed and leave" type missions). Maybe even a small mission involving crossing paths with Ash would be able to take place, with more of a resolving tone to their conversation instead of emotional or angry...You know?

I like the progression between the two shots. It's like someone told a risqué joke, and at first she was a caught off guard, but then she chuckled because it was actually pretty funny.
Actually, someone with more photoshop chops than myself should work those screenshots into an "At first I was like..., but then I lol'd" macro.

I'll try my hand at it. Strictly speaking, my Photoshop skills are restricted to the pencil tool, though.

Cool. No pressure, though. I was saying 'someone should' to mean 'I highly encourage this should anyone want to.' Still, go ahead.
