I remember when I first learned that Samara wasn't romanceable. I was actually pleasantly surprised that there was one person in the universe who wasn't interested in Shepard romantically. Shepard was just getting too Captain Kirk-ish with all the space hotties throwing themselves at him/her.

Well, she is romantically interested in him, but she turns him down nevertheless.  She has things to do, and no time to spare.  What does she say?   "If I were a Maiden, I would drag you to the floor right now, but alas, it cannot be.   Accept it."

My shepard immediately tried to build a time machine to meet Samara when she was a maiden, but alas, he didn't have enough element zero.

I remember the moment I got rejected by Samara. It was a bad day. I immediately went on a similar thread and begged bioware for a romance in ME3

That is strikingly similair to what i did.Image IPB

I remember it well.  The sky was overcast, the air was thick.  In a fit of rage I fell to my knees in despair.  Desperate cries were unanswered.  Rage against the dying of the light!  I.........um nevermind.

:D

I sunk my head and said to myself.... "but I'm Commander Shepard?!?!  Nobody is supposed to reject me, are they?"  Then I slowly started to wimper... reloaded a previous save... and chose Morinth over Samara.  J/K Image IPB

I'll make a list:
Pro's:
-Epic environment
-The shifty space cows are back
-New music
-Nice story
-If you bring Legion with you the guy acknowledges he's a geth
-Good moral choice at the end

Con's:
-Hammerhead is still a floating cardboard tank
-Can't exit the hammerhead to walk around in the environment
-No new weapons
-If you are using a PC and you bring Legion or Kasumi the game will crash
-Samara doesn't make sweet space love to you at the end.
-No crew dialogue

Definitely worth the money

I never have completed the Voyager series.  It's the only one of the Star Trek series that I haven't watched entirely.

I grew up with it, so I have something of a soft spot for it. Despite the occasionally horrendous writing.
It's strength lay in its casting: Kate Mulgrew as Janeway, Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, and of course Robert Picardo as the Doctor.

The last two basically took over the entire show when their popularity soared, so there are plenty of priceless moments between them.

To an extent, Seven reminds me of Samara.
Calculated, mature, ruthless if she needs to be, similarly improbable clothing, etcetera.

@LG.. and Janeway reminds me of a paragon female Shepard. Compassionate but a bad ass if necessary.

Best-talent-ever.
Seriously. That's something to make heads turn.
That woman is gorgeous in every way.

Oh, and I don't think so, JD. Not sure what episode it's from.

As for Janeway, I'd label her more of a Paragade. She prefers diplomacy, but when the going gets tough them Borg better watch out.

I have always really liked "Star Trek".  I like all of the series.  TNG probably being my favorite series.  Favorite "Star Trek" movies?

In this order:
II The Wrath of Khan
VII First Contact
IV The Voyage Home
VIII Generations

First Contact was a great one. I always liked the stories they did with Data.... clutch character when needed but is still like a child when learning things about emotions and social interaction. My favorite is the one where everyone gets de-evolved and it is up to Data and a stupid-Picard to fix everything.

I was never a big fan of Star Trek, though I do know of the episode "Measure of a Man". I love that episode. I'm just now getting in to Farscape. I remember liking it when it first aired, but I never got in to it.

Star Trek was great, though it seems to have gone away for the most part, other than the recent "reboot" movie. I liked the original series, especially episodes like "City On The Edge Of Forever" and the Harry Mudd episodes. I also like Next Generation, my favorite episode being "The Inner Light". Deep Space Nine and Voyager were also great, and quite underrated. The only one I never really watched regularly was Enterprise. I don't know why, I didn't dislike it, it just didn't 'wow' me.

Yeah it was the weakest.  I have watched the whole series.  To me the best season was the 3rd one, with the 4th one right behind it.  It was really slow coming off of the ground those first two seasons, and it suffered from that.  It's hard to stay interested in the first season.  They really tried to boost ratings by making the 3rd season with a darker theme.  I still think it was a good series, just not as good overall as the others.  It did have some excellent episodes though.  Also a lot of people were Trekked out.  It was TNG 87-94,  DS9 93-99, Voyager 95-2001.  Enterprise picking it up in 2001.  I think people had enough at that point and needed a little break.

Janeway, my second favorite Catain in Star Trek. Cisco(DS9) is and always will be my favorite. Jacob could learn a thing or two from him.
