And while there seems to be some fanart floating around...I'll risk it.
Please take it with a grain of salt; it was certainly intended to be.

I'm not going to be crucified for my lack of maturity?
*Phew*

At any rate, I know the topic has come up before, but I cannot for the world of me remember whether or not we came to some kind of conclusion; is there any reason for Samara to dress up in an unforgiving garb like that, considering she's a travelling warrior of justice?

I don't think anyone's going to crucify you for that, for the very same reason people shouldn't have crucified poor MDK for drawing his concept of a female Turian as having what appear to be breasts - it's art, and humorous art, at that.

As for Samara's revealing attire, I just attribute it to difference in social standards as they pertain to sexuality.

If we're not worth a few lulz, we're not worth much at all... Image IPB

Ah yes, just lying there with her foot on your throat going ->

"Could you please just kill me quickly and get it over with, this is a very confusing mix of sensations..." Image IPB

Of course, just in a choked, strained kind of voice.

And to the question posed earlier...I've not a clue what I would say to her myself. I'd be too busy being stunned into silence because I'm a low-self esteem/low confidence near-18 year old :P She's not the kind of person I'd just approach, even on a dare

Look! Picture!

It saddens me that you would describe yourself this way. I hope this is a temporary condition, and that as you age you become more self-confident and assertive. Life's too short to be plagued by feelings of inadequacy or self-doubt for any length of time. I would suggest counseling if that is available to you.

Each of us has just as much right to be here on this Earth as any other human. Don't let anyone tell you any different.

On topic:
If *I* were to encounter Samara, I would not hesitate to approach her. I would, however, make certain that none of my gestures could be interpreted as a hostile action. :D

I am not sure exactly what it is.  I don't know if it is just strickly for the eye candy, or if their is some parallel there to an ancient amazon warrior, or whatever.

LOL, that might have been the case if it had been a human under her boot.  I'm still wondering how long it will take the asari to realize that most young humans (18-25) will give them a run for the most promiscious race.  Anyone else wonder about the fact that there were alot of human males in the Eclipse?

Indeed, for all we know, Samara's armor (for it IS armor) and forehead ornaments might all be traditional dress. Bioware isn't forecoming on the subject...Image IPB

I do find it funny that people will criticize Asari youths for being promiscuous, while simultaneously denying up and down that human youths can be just as wild.  It's as if they forget that the Asari live longer, but the period of their lives during which they are considered "youths", and therefore "wild", is equivalent to that part of a human life.  For both species, the generalizations to both sides just aren't fair.

Apparently the more skin a biotic shows the more biotic power they have... just look at Jack.  If Sheploo took off his shirt in a battle... he would be unstopable.

Also... we know that for some reason asari matriarchs have big boobs.  We also know that asari matriarchs have more powerful biotics than younger asari.  So what is the reason for the big boobs?  It is where element zero is stored in their bodies.  They simply have more element zero in them and that is why they have such big boobs.... so don't touch or you might cause a warp explosion.

That is exactly what happend the first time I saw Samara. I thought to myself "I know she's supposed to be intimidating and dangerous, but that's just over the top. I mean how the hell does she manage to not get shot in the chest?"

The very same way she keeps her ta-tas under control.   Invisible biotic fields.

And they pass on element zero to their children through their breast milk, through their breasts.  This is all making very strange sense.

Too bad Shepard, as of what we know so far, won't live to see Liara like that.

Liara all grown up and still with the semi sexy breathy Jean Luc Picard voice, arched eyebrow and heaving breasts? Doing the atypical asari nightclub pseudo latin dance with the "COME TO ME" hand wagging?

Gawd save the internet.

Hey, at least Tali isn't the subject of this transformation.
Now that would've stirred things up. I dread to even imagine it.

I should start a thread presenting a Freudian analysis of a Tali fan.  What do you think? Yorkster, you listening?
