Hey, at least Tali isn't the subject of this transformation.
Now that would've stirred things up. I dread to even imagine it.
I've seen such Tali Rule 34 on 4chan that you wouldn't believe. I've seen giantess Talis glittering in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those images will 404... like tears in rain...

I was browsing a thread about the "romance pack" and I started to wonder, would a samara romance be added? I would assume that BioWare wouldn't just make a pack that says "hey pay 2 bucks and you can bang a virtual person more" so most likely it will take place in a mission. If they did a samara romance, my guess (by guess, I mean story I just made up in my head) would be that someone kidnaps the remaining 2 ardat yakshi kids to get to Samara, and through samara get to shepard. Shepard saves them, learns all about samaras past, we fight random mercanaries, we maybe score some armor or something, and bam, samara romance scene. Anyone else have a guess?
Unless Bioware has an ultra-poetic writer on-staff, who can somehow wordlessly articulate new facets of the in-game romances, the "romance pack" should not exist. So far, we haven't gotten any new dialogue from any teammates other than Shepard. If the "romance pack" must exist, it shouldn't include Samara, anyway.

Cool idea, DYL. I like the idea of meeting the two ardat-yakshi who chose the life of seclusion, and how they would react to being kidnapped.

I should start a thread presenting a Freudian analysis of a Tali fan. What do you think? Yorkster, you listening?

What's to analyze? They are mesmerized by The Hips That Launched A Million Nerdgasms. And she has the added bonus that she literally has no face to interfere with fantasy projection. Throw in a paper-thin Plucky Delicate Flower personality, and you've got a perfect storm of Dork Appeal. Not really enough here for a master's thesis.

/facetiousSpeaking of her face, surely Bioware will reveal it in ME3. Wouldn't you think so?
I doubt it. The potential for nuclear nerd rage is too high. All those hordes have very specific fantasies about how Tali's face looks, and no BioWare face will ever satisfy a significant number of them. The wrath of this group would be epic, but it could also be epically funny, so here's hoping BioWare foolishly attempts this.

Different topic:
I don't think that I have ever seen a member create so many consecutive troll threads in such a short amount of time, as that bonehead over in the general discussion forum has.:alien:On top of that, people are aware of this and still responding to him. Like they are trying to get points across to him. As if they are oblivious to the notion that he is just trolling. Who is smarter than the other here?

You know it's funny how I never notice that Samara doesn't have ears, unless I think about it whenever I look at a picture of her. The lack of the ears don't really seem to make an impression on me.yorkj86 wrote...
Tali's face should never be revealed. It should be left to the player's imagination.
What are you're thoughts on Liara's eyebrows? I know a lot of people make fun of them. Do you like them?

Did you not notice that the whole Asari species lacks external ears until Samara came along?
I wish that she didn't have her eyebrows. I wish that her mother didn't have them, too. I'm not sure that they're actually hair. I think that they're just penciled in. I don't think there's any explanation for why they'd want to have eyebrows, anyway.

I don't know about as to whether it wasn't until Samara came along or not, but I don't think I was aware of this fact concerning the Asari until I read about it somewhere. I never noticed it in the game the best I can recall.yorkj86 wrote...

The penciled eyebrows look worse on Liara in ME2 vs ME1 I think. I know Benezia not only had Marini Sirtis's voice, but she looked just like her also. Maybe they put the eyebrows on her to help make her resemble Sirtis even more, and decided to do the same with the daughter. That is all wild speculation though.

Makes Liara's expressions seem more human with the eyebrows. Assume they're just painted on, just as other asari have painted on their various facial designs. Why just eyebrows? I dunno. Think they could have done just as fine without them. Or at least add more facial designs to go with the eyebrows. The developers seem genuinely puzzled that something as alien as Garrus actually has romantic appeal, so they probably thought no one would have gone for Liara without them making her look as human as possible.

I would prefer that Liara didn't have eyebrows but at the same time I don't really care because Liara can't stand up to Samara

Do you have any imports that have Ash or Liara as LI's that you stuck with? Who do you romance in ME2 btw?
I have done all of them. I know I will have Jack, Ash, and Liara with at least one Shepard so far for my MaleShep. Haven't done the FemShep romances yet.

Considering how awful Femshep's romances were in ME2... I just stuck with the Kaidan one. Seriously... I think that Bioware treats Femshep with less importance than they do with Sheploo.

The apparent failure of the Jacob character in the eyes of a lot of people seems to be the source of this. A little change in voice inflections, and add and subtract a few words, and presto you're good to go. The balance is restored.

No I'm also talking about Garrus's showing up in Femshep's cabin with wine looking like a space pimp and Thane's emo whinning as well Mr. "The Priiize".
