Do you have any imports that have Ash or Liara as LI's that you stuck with? Who do you romance in ME2 btw?

I have done all of them. I know I will have Jack, Ash, and Liara with at least one Shepard so far for my MaleShep.  Haven't done the FemShep romances yet.

Considering how awful Femshep's romances were in ME2... I just stuck with the Kaidan one.  Seriously... I think that Bioware treats Femshep with less importance than they do with Sheploo.

You been listening to the nag gang too much NICK.B)

The apparent failure of the Jacob character in the eyes of a lot of people seems to be the source of this.  A little change in voice inflections, and add and subtract a few words, and presto you're good to go.  The balance is restored.;)

No I'm also talking about Garrus's showing up in Femshep's cabin with wine looking like a space pimp and Thane's emo whinning as well Mr. "The Priiize".

No worse than young Tali,  or the genetically imperfect cheerleader Miranda for me.  It's all subjective, and up to personal preference.;)   There are plenty of girl gamers that like Garrus and Thane.

Alright... but Jack was by far the superior romance in the game.

Her romance contains a lot of emotional impact for a dramatic effect.  IMO, her paragon romance scene is the only one that is suitable for a cuddling scene.  At least for MaleShep anyway.  For the rest, the cuddling scenes reek of 13yr old cinema.

Well you know how I feel about the Tali romance so there is no need to discuss that. As for Miranda... don't mind it. It seems more of a casual build up than Jack's emotionaly charged one. Both have a good effect but I think Jack's romance is better written.

I thought the 3 romances were "in character" as far as the female LI's were concerned, even if my "canon" paragon Shepard still carries a torch for Ashley.

1)The Tali romance is like Tali, more innocent, clumsy, nerdy (way too adolescent for me, but I'm old).
2)The Miri romance is like Miri, opportunistic, practical, a private moment snatched between two persons too busy to dream of something long-term (hence avoiding the intimacy implied by sharing a bed and spending the whole night over).
3)The Jack romance is like Jack, a dramatic release of pent-up emotions.
4)Tha Samara "almost romance" is SOOO like Samara it doesn't need commenting...

So in terms of "quality", I think they worked well. It DOES sound like the femShep romances were less satisfyingly written, but I haven't explored any of them with my femSheps so I can't say.

@JohnnyDollar in response to your question all my imports have Liara romanced and I have tried all three of the ME 2 romances and I didn't like any of them. I'm going to have no romaces for ME 1 and ME 2 for my first ME 3 playthrougj in hopes of a Samara romance

Well Samarites I did the unthinkable last night with my paragade... I chose Morinth over Samara (I need one Morinth playthrough in the hopes that I'll get a Morinth romance... even if it doesn't happen).

That... and I want to see the difference between having Morinth in the next game compared to having Samara.  I also have a playthrough where I didn't romance anyone in ME1 or ME2 and I tried the romance option with Samara in ME2 (in hopes that I can romance Samara in ME3).

Also... I have never denied that I'm a Morinth fan as well as a Samara fan.  I'm the leader of the official Morinth fan group after all.

*head butts her desk*

Exerpt From Chapter 3 of Pariah

If anyone wants to read it.

Recently got the second OST for Naruto Shippuden, some of the tracks are helping.

Where/How I plan to end Pariah <- big stinkin' spoiler. Though I guess it would be kind of obvious since I already said it wasn't going to end happily.

Btw, I still giggle everytime I see your group Nick.

There is our young hero and her victorious krant.  I have work for you, young Ashira, if you are interested.  Just set the Justicar aside and come talk to me.

Samara and Shepard will only appear in the last chapter of the story, for obvious, cannon reasons =P

Do you think there will be a difference? Even if Samara/Morinth remains a squad mate, I would think Morinth would stay hidden. And with all the possible combinations of squadmates I unfortunately think that they will be nothing but cameos. Which also reminds me of one of the choices I would want in ME3, either cure kepral syndrome and fix Thane or cure ardat-yakshi and fix morinth or Samara's two other daughters.

It is the last game... they will go all out.  Do I think it will be cameos... it is possible.... but not for LI's.  Honestly... only Samara/Morinth, Grunt, Legion and Mordin (of the non-dlc characters) were not LI's.  I think that they will be in the next game... mostly since it is the last game and that means no need to plan for ME4.

But they have said they wanted to expand the ME universe after the shepard trilogy, so it would depend on whether they choose a storyline that could be effected by the shepard trilogy choices. Most of the squad mates I think will be cameos to make way for new characters, because casey hudson (I think thats who said it) said something about how having the same squad members would take away the experience of meeting new ones.

I wonder what she'd make of the Dragon Age world?

The Naruto Universe. Just to see what would happen.

Or alternatively Warcraft. Paladins! =P

Very long lived species like the Draenei and Night Elves. Hell, maybe she'd find more commonalities with the Draenei =P they're all followers of the light and try to do good, and whilst they're proud warriors they don't like unnecessary killing.

It would be interesting for Samara.   Biotics are essentially "magic".  People in the DA setting would most likely perceive biotics to be magic.  Magic is heavily monitored in the DA setting.  She would either be pursued as a witch (Ardat-Yakshi, anyone?), or she would respect the law of the land and allow herself to be admitted as a registered practitioner of "magic", and a powerful one, at that.

Its interesting to think about how a character with absolute convictions to her duty would affect another world. I wouldn't mind seeing Samara in Bioshock's Rapture. Around people who have succumbed to the mass chaos and hedonism. Just to see her chart a course to return Rapture to some kind of order, or even purify it, would be intrigueing.

I think she would be utterly dismayed at Rapture, I know I was.  It just pointed out to me why those people who decry any government are just as delusional as those who want too much government.
