Has anyone found any good Samara pics lately?

I haven't :(  I haven't played since the Overlord DLC, either.

I haven't played in a few weeks either and i don't have Overlord yet.

I think im going to finish up my Oblivion playthrough and another Dragon Age playthrough and then start up another ME 1 playthrough.

I don't see myself playing ME1 anytime soon.  The last time I played it was a few months before ME2 release.  I am sure I will play it again one of these days.

It's getting 6% on RottenTomatoes. I'm not going to see it. Shyamalan's gonna be out of the job.

I was already doubting the movie on the cast alone. White wash?

I'm a big Avatar fan and loved the characters. I would've thought if he looked harder he would've found actors that looked the part. Aside from appearance, it seems the acting didn't do justice to the characters. Everything was too serious.

And the "worst crime" of all - Sokka wasn't funny.

I dread to acknowledge that this was planned to be a trilogy.

Dear god, think of Azula and Mai. What if Ty Lee isn't her chirpy, childish and innocently goofy self?

Game over, man! Game over!

*ahem* Now that that is out of my system. Lookit! I bring you on topic (somewhat regurgitated) screenshots.

What's that on Shepard's neck?

Also, I'm not even going to get in to the absolutely ridiculous and hilarious all-around butthurt about the supposed "white wash"ing of the Last Airbender movie's cast.  If you'd like to take it to messages, we can do that.

EDIT:  Formatting woes.

Hm? I don't want to get into a fight about it, I don't like arguements. :(

I'm only saying, that the actors just don't fit (to me) and it makes it feel more like Narnia fantasy than what I'd expect the Avatar series to be in a movie.

If you're going to mock me (judging by how you just worded your view of said "butthurt") then no, I'd rather not take it to messages.

No, I wasn't using "butthurt"  to refer to you, specifically, I was using it to refer to the all-around butthurt that's been generated by the media and the series' die-hard fans in response to the supposed "white-wash"ing of the film's cast.  I'm not mocking you, or trying to start a fight with you.   I was offering to take it to messages, since the controversy isn't on-topic to Samara.

I haven't really kept up with it, but it sounds similar to some of the butthurt whining about different aspects of the game in the forums here.

lol just jokin...nice fanart there kelmar I haven't seen to many sketches of the hand holding scene with Samara which is one of the better choreographed scenes in the game to me.

EDIT: lol I just realized the Shepard in that fanfic is renegade muhahaha

I think hand-holding is an underrated romantic gesture, I know its certainly in my repertoire ;) and Shepard was smart and classy to use it there with Samara even if she probably felt uncomfortable. I don't know how important body contact is to Asari, but I do know males find comfort and camaraderie in it, no wonder there's so much fist bumping, high fiving goin on all the time...so yeh I have no idea where I was going with that...but umm...more hand-holding in ME3! :D

No fighting here, just a misunderstanding.

Yeah, Shepard stepping in to take Samara's hands was very presumptuous.  I can imagine how profound it would have been for Shepard, taking the hands of a woman whose presence is so overwhelming, without her permission.  I can imagine how profound it would have been for Samara, being flattered that a human would be so forward and persistent, and yet not be so intimidated by her that he wouldn't dream of getting anywhere near her to tell her that he has feelings for her.

I think it was just the right sentiment, not too forward, but not too guarded. And now I can't imagine any other way there would be to approach Samara for a romantic encounter. There's expressive body contact/language in other romances as well, I just like this approach the most, its just classy, old school romanticism suitable for the wise and elegant Samara. For example, with Jack I know there's alot of movement and aggressive camera pans/angles that hints at a sort of chaotic dance between Shepard and her. Very great approach for her. Its these little nuances that go a long way in characterization and storytelling.

I concur, I quite liked the hand-holding approach. Foward, but not acting like a`rapist.

Some Samara information on her role for the suicide mission after conducting a ridiculous amount of research.

If you don't get the shield upgrade, Samara can die, but you have to put some real effort into it. She comes after Kasumi -> Legion -> Tali -> Garrus -> Zaeed -> Grunt -> Jack.

If you don't get the weapon upgrade, Samara can also die after some effort as she comes after Thane -> Garrus -> Zaeed -> Grunt -> Jack.

Samara isn't going to work as your Fire Team Leader or Distraction Team Leader. As the first one, the tech will die. As the second one, she will die.

Samara, of course, does work as the Biotic Specialist, but only if she's loyal. There's an order to which squadmates die if she's not loyal or if you use an unloyal Jack or other Biotic Specialist. Thane -> Jack -> Garrus -> Legion -> Samara.

Samara also works just fine as an escort so long as she's loyal. She'll sacrifice herself for the crew if she's not loyal, however.

Samara is a mid-tier defender (along with Jacob, Legion, Miranda, and Thane) when it comes to the squadmates Holding the Line. Check out the suicide mission guide stickied on the Campaign and Storyline forum for how the complicated Hold the Line score works. The order in which squadmates die starts with the unloyal, but goes Mordin -> Tali -> Kasumi -> Jack -> Miranda -> Jacob -> Garrus -> Samara

If you'd like to hear Samara give a status report on how the defense is going, she comes after Thane -> Jack -> Garrus -> Legion -> Grunt -> Jacob.

If you'd like to hear Samara speak up against keeping the Collector Base, she comes after Thane in the order in which dissenters speak up. Or you could bring her with one of the assenters (Garrus, Grunt, Legion, Mordin, Zaeed). You must pick the BOTTOM LEFT option ("You think it can help?") with the Illusive Man to hear Samara's opinion. You can still destroy the base afterwards.

If you'd like to catch Samara falling down the platform, you must ensure her icon remains on the RIGHT during the final battle. If you need to reload, sometimes the icons will switch places on you.

If you'd like Samara to catch Shepard leaping for the Normandy, she comes after Miranda -> Zaeed -> Kasumi -> Tali -> Jacob -> Mordin. The squadmates who were with Shepard for the final fight will pull Shepard up. If one squadmate died, it will be the other one. If both died, it will be a survivor from the defense.

Great little tidbit.
