You will be in the Bioware ME hall of fame some day. Fellow forumites will often wonder just how we was able to unlock the various puzzles that involved different scenarios in this game. You're dedication, skill, and hard work is a testament to the human race. Through you're selfless acts, others will be able to enjoy this game and it's many wonders. It honors me to dedicate this day henceforth as Pacifien day. May you're eternal wishes become a reality. And remember that regardless of you're lot in life, you will be hailed as king and a hero here in this forum.

Her shield fails if she's not loyal, or the BEEEEEEEEES come and snatch someone up after she releases the shield?
She isn't able to keep her biotic bubble up long enough for all three people to make it inside (so the beeeees take someone). Her barriers fail regardless if she is loyal or not if you put her as the second team leader during the biotic bubble section.

I like that if a biotic specialist can't hold the barrier long enough, having another biotic on your team does nothing.
What I don't get is why Shepard couldn't hold the bubble him/herself. If you are playing as an Adept then you either a bastion or nemesis. Abastion would mean you get 20% duration on the barrier... meaning you could hold it longer. A nemesis means you could get 20 % damage bonus... meaning it should be easier to hold up. And what about Mr. "The Priiiize"? His bonus power is "barrier". Shouldn't he be able to hold that thing up? It's just silly.

Hmm. I just thought of something. Considering the very close relation ship between AY and traditional vampires, is there intentional metagaming symbology?

There are some similarities, but it depends upon which vampires from what setting you're talking about. Even Morinth has more depth than Stephanie Meyer's sparkling vampires. And yes, I'm poking harmless fun, nick.

I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that post. What I wanted to talk about was Samara's neck band and its possible relevance to vampire mythology and guarding against being bitten.
ooh I get what you meant. yeh there could be some allusion to that...
so much of Samara's costume is mysterious and perplexing...
- The skin tight, V-neck body suit for a brute executioner who will likely take on powerful enemies
- The forehead emblems that seem to stick on her head without any attachment to another body part
- The gold neckband that looks like some avant garde shock collar
- Heels
how Samara pulls it off in combat, I'll never know. Anyway, not that I'm saying this is plausible in any way, but those forehead emblems could represent some kind of detachment from melding Justicars have an option to uphold. Maybe it doesn't have to do with Justicars, but rather its a sign worn by Asari who wish not to meld for any reason. Maybe ardat yakshi are required to wear them to communicate that and Morinth refused to and ran away for that reason 0_0 causing Samara to pick them up and use them instead and swear an oath to stop her when she became a Justicar. Ook, that was complete fluff someone could use in a fanfic, but yea, fun to speculate on the purpose of some of the things she wears.

7Makaveli, you know who else made people wear ornaments to indicate their status?
HITLER.
(I'm joking.)

*ahem!*
That's a nice train of thought Mak, I would be inclined to use it if I hadn't already settled on those symbols being the sign of a Justicar. Besides, using that idea would screw up a few of my fanfics...seperate meanings, conflicting stories; not so good.
It's still interesting though

it would be a nice way to explain it, even though I'm sure the writers/designers probably didn't intend to give them any kind of purpose. Would make a cool fanfic scene tho, something like Samara following an early trail of Morinth before she became a Justicar, and seeing those emblems on the floor, picking them up, and placing them on herself to signify her own spiritual transformation just like Morinth embracing Ardat....Yakshiness?..o.0 if you don't write it....maybe I will
but yea, don't you think Morinth vs. Samara is kind of like a less preachy version of Good Vs. Evil? Sort of like "Order vs. Chaos"? (TV Tropes>>>) Niether can inherently be called good or evil imo, but both are spurned on by the natural force of necessary actions. For Morinth its an ever growing addiction while for Samara its a static self discipline. Like it or not folks, I don't think Samara is as effective of a character without the yang of Morinth (that came out wrong) but ahem yea, thoughts, comments, bueller?

Samara is the authority that will kill you for not falling in line. Morinth is the embrace of total lack of authority, hedonism, who-are-you-to-tell-me-what-to-do-by-the-way-I-kill-people-by-microwaving-their-brains.

They very much wanted to make Morinth seem like a vampire. Enough so that her soundfiles are named "vampire".
I would like to hear these soundfiles if there's any uh "hidden" dialogue they forgot to remove. Or something...ya know.

I have the 360 version so I only know of the ones I've downloaded from links on the forum. PM Ecael and ask her for them because she is the queen of that stuff.
