That is the most epic thing I've seen today. Well, other than the old woman I saw that looked like Steve Buscemi.yorkj86 wrote...

I'm watching "Youth In Revolt" right now. Steve Buscemi is in the movie. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

That's the artist doing my Samara & Shepard commission. I love the smile on her face there.

That is perfectly fine. I can understand why people may not like her character, but I also see how much depth she has to offer. She deals in absolutism. She's 'good,' but still kills in the name of justic, which can present the player with issues of moral ambiguity. A Jedi is merciful, killing only when necessary, and believing that people can be redeemed. (Honestly, she reminds me more of a Vulcan than anything.) Samara carries the same 'Paragon' demeanor, but is not merciful, striking with a righteous vengeance underneath the control that she has mastered. And even more so, with a deep-rooted sadness, when it comes to her daughter. A daughter who merely went on the run for being persecuted (albeit a psychotic one). "The genetic destiny" of the Asari also brings up some interesting questions.
I feel as if we have only begun to scratch the surface that is Samara. She has lived for nearly a millenium, is the only crew member to refuse the romantic advances of one Commander Shepard, and even more interesting is the prospect of her attempting to bring a Renegade Shepard to justice in ME3. I believe her character has plenty more to offer.

I know, I was just drawing attention to Samara because
1- this is her character thread
&
2- The other character's don't have a code which they are fanatically loyal to, that dictates them to protect the innocent. The bigger threat out of typical criminals and reapers, is the reapers.
That's why there should have been a way to click on the couch so that Shepard could sit down and read a book quietly.AshiraShepard wrote...
I would opt to do that...but I would feel like I was bothering her just by standing there >.>

At this stage, all Shepard can do is prepare and gather intelligence on the Reapers. I've always thought that the squadmates would actually disperse to either act as liasons or look for evidence of Reaper incursion or technology. I can see Samara doing more of the information gathering than the liason aspect, though. Every species laid claim to some part of Sovereign, and I'd leave it to Samara to find out what the asari did with their bits of salvage.
