Asari blood is purple, yeah. Dunno about the pants. Maybe the legs are detachable, in case the Justicar needs to show more skin.

You can tell that the artist just took a picture of Samara standing, cut the picture off around her thighs, added the floor to the picture, and digitally added a woman's legs. Samara's lower torso doesn't look as if it's resting on something. That's what's so odd about the picture. In the picture, Samara's legs are attached to her abdomen, not her pelvis, and that makes it weird.
