Okay...this is really out there, but how do you think Samara would react to a Zombie Apocalypse?

I'm asking this simply because some of us in Waffles have filled out "Zombie Survival Sheets"

That one was mine, and the sidekick slot, see?

So...yeah.

*hides*

she would need many bullets...>.>

It wasn't a naughty image! -_-'''

I organized my photobucket albums because the original Mass Effect album was getting cluttered with my captions.

Is that Shepard...being protective of Samara?

"I am not allowed to look?"  The phrasing of that sentence made me laugh, especially when I read it in Maggie Baird's voice.

To which part?  Shepard being protective of Samara is funny because of the incongruity.  Samara has an overwhelming presence that even Shepard seems humbled by.  It's like the protector, being protected.

Edit: Ah fu- now I get what you were refering to.

Mmyeah, more like Shep being a little uh, possessive.

When you love someone, you feel protective of them even if they don't need it.

Yes, but that doesn't make the incongruity any less humorous.

Man... Slow thread today. To remedy this, I will come up with a completely false trolling conspiracy theory regarding Samara, and you all can rip it apart!

After 5 years of video game character research, I have come to the conclusion that Samara has actually been hired by Cerberus. Why else would she join your team immediately? It's not like your mission was important or anything. And Morinth was actually a spy that new about cerberus's plan to poison children using puppies. So TIM (who is actually that volus Olar) kills two stones with one bird by helping Shepard kill the collectors (who are actually against the reapers, and cerberus is working with the reapers) and killing Morinth. My logic is better than all of your's, so I am going to ask bioware for more explosions and sex and less dialogue and story for ME3. Then I'll play COD, which is the only good game, ever.

I know this guy is trolling, but I know ALOT of people that actually feel this way. I really hope BioWare isn't trying to make their game for the COD fans.

I play COD, I thought it had the best story I had ever seen in a shooter , but this is Mass Effect Dammit! Don't put your shooter in my RPG.

Who cares about initial sales of the game? We buy all of the DLC anyway.

And Bobby Kotick is a total ******. I hate him. If he is successful, other publishers will take his "it's all about the money" mindset. I REALLY hate him.

Nerd Rant:

Mass Effect was an RPG with experimental shooter elements.  Unfortunately, due to the popularity of modern action-only FPSes, and the rise of video companies run by suits, and not by gamers, game design has become solely profit-minded, with quality story-telling taking a back-seat to easy money.

The salt in the wound, however, is that emotionless, trash-talking marines have existed for a while.  Duke Nukem and Doom Guy co-existed with the likes of Baldur's Gate and Planescape Torment.  Nowadays, however, games like BG  and PS:T are no longer made because they're no longer profitable.   When they were profitable, they were played by gamers who have since grown up, and no longer have time to play games in general.   If they do have time, they do so out of nostalgia, and they are looked down upon for playing games at that age.

These are dark times.  Rant off.

Truer words have never been spoken. Mass Effect 2 fell victim to that, and I'm not sure about Dragon Age 2, since I haven't been following it, but it seems like it has. EA has been much better about this than Activision though. But that's not very hard to do, because Bobby Kotick is CEO of Activision.

They need to drop a bone about upcoming DLC or a tiny (non-spoiler... I know it is hard for them to do this) bit of info about ME3.
