The new comic, called Evolution or Evolutions I think, is before ME1 and before the book ascension, during the first contact war.JohnnyDollar wrote...
It would have been more interesting and more gameplay of course, to have had bridging DLC between ME1&2, instead of a comic covering it.

That picture of Samara is kind of cute, kelmar. Do you just do regular searches on DA for new Samara fanart?
I use opera. A "mass effect" search on DA is one of my speed dials

Didn't she say something about how everyone could call her a hero but she'd gun them all down without hesitation if they were unjust? I hope I haven't made any bad decisions.
Yes, she says that. She's indifferent to their praise, and wouldn't let it get in her way of persecuting them as criminals. It's a really strong indicator of her Lawful Neutral alignment.

What's up BlackMetal? You been playing ME2 any lately? I have played it a little lately myself. I'm curios what the next DLC will be. I'm assuming that we are going to have quite a bit of DLC between now and ME3. Don't know about quality or size/scope, but if we get it every other month, with small stuff in between, that is quite a few downloads between now and then.
Did you buy that Aegis pack?
I actually haven't played ME 2 in around a month. Ive mostly been playing Oblivion, Dragon Age, and Halo Wars. I think i might play another ME 1 playthrough soon and then after that ill play ME 2 with Overlord. Im also curious about what the next DLC might be, i hope it is good.
And No, i have not bought the Aegis pack.

I'm guessing it is going to be redemption related dlc. They told us the redemption story would continue in ME2 and I doubt that side quest on Illium was it. Also, they just announced a new comic and it's comic-con, so it would fit the comic theme.BlackMetal wrote...

I thought that too, until I heard all of those sound files that were left in the game that involved liara and the shadow broker. They had the title DLC in them too. I doubt bioware would just leave those files there, my guess is it was a tease. Kasumi's sounds were there too, also with the title dlc in the name if I remember correctly.yorkj86 wrote...
The last page of the last issue of Redemption says "Continued in ME2", but I didn't interpret that as saying that the events and characters will be more fully explored in ME2/DLC. I interpreted that as, "Hey, this comic is related to a vidya game, so go buy it!". Besides, they barely even touched on Liara's character in ME2...

I hope they don't use those files. The story that's there sounds terrible. They'd be going the Bastila route with Liara. Seriously? Borrowing from your own game?

From my understanding, this particular audio, did not come from the twrhub_liara_dlc_lead_in_d_S_INT.afc file.yorkj86 wrote...

I used gibbed audio extractor, but for some reason, this particular file does not show up in list of audio files, although it does exist in the game folder.
I think I remember jlb524 also stating that this audio did not come from that file with "dlc" in the name. Maybe if she spots this post, she could elaborate.
Either way, it's not necessariliy indicitave of future DLC.

"On Topic"
This thought came to me just as I was waking up, when on Virmire, if you look around a bit, you can find a bunch of Salarians whose minds have been destroyed from indoctrination.
Now, in this instance, you either leave them "paragon"
Or you can perform a Mercy Kill on them "renegade"
I've only taken Liara, Wrex and Garrus with me on Virmire. But Wrex greatly approves of putting them out of their misery, because he himself would want to be killed if he was reduced to that state.
Garrus and Liara are greatly uncomfortable with Shepard considering and then performing the Mercy Kill, which is a clean headshot to each of the Salarians.
So how do you think Samara would react to this situation if she were there or in such a situation by herself?

Knowing they would be vaporized by the coming nuclear blast? I think she would leave them there, if only to save herself time/ammunition. Keep in mind you're running against time and a rapidly dwindling salarian STG diversion force: Paragons have no time for "mercy killings". The time I take to shoot these mindless saps is costing the STG men. The mindless salarians are already as good as dead, Samara would focus on saving the lives she can.AshiraShepard wrote...
