In a serious sense, I think Samara there might have foreshadowed that humanity is going to have a primary role in saving the galaxy, because everyone is supposedly waiting for them to do something big.  I might be reading to much into that, but it would be pretty silly if that is what's implied.

Imma rage if Bioware pulls that "Humans Are SPESHUL!" trope out of their asses again...

@Ashira: Yes, if the Humans get even more pedestals to be placed on in the next game, I would be disappointed because I'd expected them to be more of the "coming of age" archetype instead of "take you to the promise land" archtype >.> (if anyone understood what I mean)

Could you give me a brief summary of what a Talinth is? Im really baked and i don't feel like reading alot because im in a dark room and it's slightly more difficult to read than normal lol

BM, they're the species I use in my Morinth fanfiction "Pariah"



They're like philisophical Klingons, and are like the Asari in "gender"(all female), longevity and biotic ability. They prefer bladed weapons over guns, honour is a big thing among them, and they look like catgirls. (albeit it much more serious, deadly looking ones)

My personal view is that Samara would let Balak go. One cannot assume Balak will kill again: you can still hunt him down and possibly catch/kill him later. But you can be sure these hostages WILL die if you attack. They would die as a direct result of Samara's action. You sacrifice 3 innocents so that you might save more people? That simply doesn't feel black/white enough for the Code. The future is unknown, and therefore gray. The Code deals in black/white. Killing Balak may feel like the simplest way, but as Samara points out, it does not make it the right way.

Had the situation been slightly different and Samara felt she could kill Balak AND save the hostages, then yeah: HEAVY REAVE (with an side order of pain and supersize agony)... Mwouuuaaaah!
