Then they can follow up with an RPG element in ME3. It wouldn't necessarily be a retcon would it? Because nothing seems to be clearly established or defined concerning the council decision at the end ME2, other than a few comments made by a few minor characters. Unless I am missing something, which is entirely possible.yorkj86 wrote...

Between ME2 and ME3.

For me, it's because she is calm, regal, and paragon like my Shep. She is the only one who is immune to Shepard's charms and her character is consistent throughout.
Also, the justicar ideal where everyone faces justice regardless of wealth or status appeals to my mindset that if you do wrong, you should be punished. Although I do believe in a moral gray zone, the code still is very similar to my beliefs.

I have a question for all of you. Why do you like Samara's character?

All of this. Also, my Shepard likes Samara because he knows that he can count on her to stay devoted to her convictions. As long as he stays Paragon, and as long as he remains her friend, he has a powerful friend in her.

I liked the justicar thing, because it proves the asari are more than just diplomats and strippers.adriano_c wrote...
The justicar thing is kind of whatever to me, but her background story actually has some emotional gravity.

Either way, the whole justicar thing is too much of a throwback to paladins and Judge Dredd to me. Nothing original about it, really.

It was refreshing for me. It was nice to see so interesting and anachronistic. It was nice to see someone who doesn't believe in gray morality, which, far too often, according to her, leads to ethical laziness and akrasia.

In my own words though, there's just somehing about a strong, collected female character with that dark spot of hurt in their past that's like catnip to me. I don't know why.
In other news, I'm sure something is going on in this screenshot...

Shepard: Samara aren't you coming?
Samara: I'm not leaving until you go give aid to that injured salarian
Shepard: But I'm all the way over here
*Paragon Stare*
Shepard: But the key to defeating the reapers is right over there!
*Paragon Stare*
Shepard: ...Fine

I wonder what Samara would think of the way celebrities and the very wealthy tend to be treated differently by the law. The law is supposed to be impartial to things like wealth and status. I'm very certain Samara would be fond of the statue that shows justice as being blind.
Martha Stewart hasn't killed folks (maybe she has?), but Samara probably wouldn't approve of the special treatment she allegedly received.

She would probably punish the criminal, and all involved in easing the sentence. It would fit with her punishing the corrupt.yorkj86 wrote...

Thanks, the artist should complete it, soon. He just has to add in the little details, and make all of the lines very clear and clean.
