Money is another reason I don't think she would use information brokers. She has gotten rid of everything she has except for her weapons and armor. She couldn't afford to buy information.DirtyVagrant wrote...
I'm sure if, say, time was a factor in her mission then she would prefer to get immediate information from a broker than spend time trying to uncover facts for herself. But that would suggest that Samara would have money to purchase said info...

In my blogfic Samara uses what's called the Plexus, the Justicar network of sensitive information contributed to by other Justicars and all sections of Asari government. She has no uses for teh Shadow Broker or any other information broker for that matter, she already knows more than them![]()

An update on the Shepard & Samara picture. There are some things that were added that I'm not sure I like. The picture is finishing completion, though. I really like the way that they are holding hands. The way Shepard is holding Samara's hand is very "gentlemanly".

Well, she's certainly smart enough (+experienced enough) to devise whatever clever traps for capturing/killing targets, I'm sure. However, I think the Morinth situation was a special case, and that she'd probably prefer a more direct approach, reflecting her personality. No nonsense.
I can't really see her digging tiger pits (with the banana leaf tarps over top). She'd probably think they were underhanded.

I would think that they use similar methods that detectives use. Gathering evidence, interrogating people, intimidating others, as well as laying elaborate traps, I would imagine. From what we understand, the Justicar is brought in as a last resort, on most occasions. Chances are that the cases that are dropped into the Justicars' laps, are cases befitting an excecution as the solution.7Makaveli wrote...
We've seen Samara set a trap once in Omega for Morinth, but do you folks think that she regularly makes elaborate plans to execute people or was it just a one time thing for Morinth because she is so elusive?
I think the Code gives freedom to Justicars to use whichever method to kill the unjust, but I do wonder if some Justicars are patient enough to set traps when they have the option to go straight in for a messy kill (possibly endangering innocents)
The peculiar nature of this question relates to the current blogfic I'm writing so any help is appreciated.

The Justicar is an individual unique to herself. Therefore there would be certain aspects in how she performed her duties, that would differentiate herself from others. However, they all receive the same training, and quite often use common techniques between them, I would surmise. Some would be more ruthless and/or more disorganized than others, with all individual Justicars being somewhat distinct from one another.

I think it would depend on the situation. If the target was like Morinth, then they would need a trap. If the target was by themselves and had no chance of escape, Samara could just go in.7Makaveli wrote...
