It is kind of sad... this was one of the more mature threads. It seems that even the Jack thread has devolved to picture spam and immature discussion. We seem to have run out of things to talk about.

The Jack thread has had more picture spam than usual, but overall, I wouldn't call it immature. Maybe not always in depth discussions. Some of us joke around a little bit every now and then.:innocent:

When they start releasing DLCs that are supposed to take place after the suicide mission, I'll guess they'll just hand-wave away Samara's continued presence in Shepard's crew. Another instance of submitting to the Third Oath Though, I'd like to see Samara and Shepard, who in this case see eye-to-eye, trying to work together without her under the Third Oath.
It does actually make sense. Her orignal mission accomplished. Taking on the reapers would be of priority wouldn't it?

She isn't under any kind of command, other than under the Asari government, when she is not under the 3rd oath. Due to the command structure of the Normandy, it doesn't seem feasible that she would be aboard the ship, and part of the crew actively involved in missions, unless she was under the 3rd oath, and under Shepard's command.kelmar6821 wrote...

(this events depicted in this post are entirely fictional and not at all serious)

that's the natural thing to think, but Justicars primarily work alone, I think that might even override that seeing as how the 3rd Oath is temporary. But then where would she go about stopping the Reapers alone? But its perfectly reasonable to assume that stopping the Reapers should be her main priority now, she's seen firsthand what's at stake. Bioware built up these characters as if they were going to afford Shepard their ultimate price, embark on his suicide mission, but they can all come out alive too, what then? that's what they have to answer about each character.

The way other asari talk about Justicars always made me believe that they had no official standing as an enforcement agency. They may or may not have a centralized administration, but she is still able to pick missions of her choosing and pursue them at will (Nihlus incident).
Yes, I doubt she prefers to be under the command structure of the Normand and Cerberus. But knowing that most governments seem to be ignoring the problem all together, it's a reasonable assumption that she may view staying aboard Normandy as the best method to fighting the Reapers

I was referring more to DLC that really has nothing to do with the Reaper threat. Unless the Shadow Broker is an indoctrinated pawn of the Reapers, feeding them information about the events taking place within the galaxy, I don't think Samara has much of a reason to be there.

vengeful samara is vengeful

I'd have to find out what Liara decides to do at the end of the SB DLC in order to make a decision.
