And speaking of reading. The latest chapter of Who Saves the Hero is done.

If your curious about the asari Spectre mentioned in it : http://www.cerberusd...?tag=tela-vasir

I think it's just a little funny that a salarian is using a salarian saying ("May all her eggs hatch") to refer to an asari.

That was funny, I can just imagine the look on her face.  Hopefully she would be amused.

Blue Justicar needs DLC badly.

Blue Justicar could use a DLC where she teams up with other Blue Justicars to execute all the Eclipse. Blue Suns, and Blood Pack in Asari space.

*ahem* Anyway. I'm working on an idea for a new Oneshot centering around Shepard and Samara.

That is all I shall say for now...

Given the beating Shep gave Eclipse on Illium, and the Blue Suns everywhere else in the galaxy, it'd be a short fight.

Really.  After finding out that something like regiment strength units keep getting wiped out by a roving human natural disaster, recruitment numbers must suck for both groups.

I just (once again) finished Samara's loyalty mission, and I had to come here just to comment on the conversation between her and Shepard back on Normandy. The way she conducts herself is just beautiful. She's so elegant and majestic; talking to her really makes you feel like you're in the presence of someone who has seen just about everything in the galaxy, good and bad.

I like to think that even Shepard is intimidated by her.

I like to think not as intimidated but rather humbled by Samara's presence. Perhaps a Renegade would be threatened instead, but there is something about the way she carries herself that is quite impressionable for people who are paying attention....to her "other" features :P

I forgot what mission I was doing, but Samara started a sentence with a matter-of-fact "O-kay", and it threw me.  The way she said it was so out-of-character, not to mention that she said it in the first place.

EDIT: Also, as I stated earlier in the Jack thread, I'm running a just-for-fun playthrough right now, on my Sentinel, and I chose Raider as my class power, instead of Guardian.  I'm failing Paragon checks left and right, including the mind-control check againt Morinth.  Very frustrating.

Anyone else ever watch Farscape? Because there are many similarities in how Samara speaks and carries herself that reminds me of Zhaan.

Samara and Zhaan really do have a similar thing going on, with the troubled pasts having given way to self-control.  But what's really interesting is how little Samara seems like a Zhaan clone in spite of that.  The big thing is that Samara has become a force for justice, while Zhaan is something of a free spirit, albeit a basically benevolent one.  Zhaan is more genuinely serene, but when we do see her regress, it gets ugly fast.  With Samara, there's no real chance of her lapsing into mercenary-land, but it seems to be much more work for her to keep her composure, or at the very least, in doing so she's less able to lose control to something good--no anger comes at the cost of less real joy.

Also, how cool would it be if Virginia Hey had a cameo as an Asari NPC in ME3?

Starting to think Virginia Hey would have made an even more kickass Aria now...

I'd say Samara is more skilled at keeping her composure, I can't really think of a time when she ever even looks like she's about to lose it, even during the near romance. You can see sadness in her eyes, sense approval in her voice, but at a glance, the composure is always the same.

"Statuesque" is what Virginia Hey called it, for Zhaan. Said it was actually rather different way for her to carry herself, that most tall women get used to adjusting their posture to make themselves appear seem shorter, but it's a less graceful way of positioning herself.

For Samara, her posture is rigid as is her code. When I think of how Morinth's and Samara's styles would have differed greatly is that I imagine Samara's biotic movements would seem almost mechanical and precise while Morinth's would have been much more fluid, like a dance.

Does Samara sound like she's going to lose her composure, if you screw up her loyalty mission?

I don't think so. The best I recall, she doesn't fuss about it much.

"You will regret your decision" is her response to Shepard if Shepard makes the wrong choice.

No she just gives you a look and talks about how long it'll take her to find Morinth again then asks to return to the normandy.

I'd be afraid if she did. She's packing almost 1000 years of biotics and would destroy the normandy if she ever throw a tantrum.

Shepard: RUN FOR YOU LIFE, ANGRY JUSTICAR! *sprints*
