ok, so I will give braggin rights to the first person who can guess which movie is referenced in Samara's dialog. I had to alter it a little to make sense for Samara and the Asari, but you should be able to guess if you know this cult classic : )

achievements – and the chance to continue a relationship with Liara."
I'm imagine I'll get it. For 800 points, I sure hope it's a good one. Has Bioware stated where the DLC takes place chronologically? I'm a bit curious. That intel center sounds interesting.

I used a mod before one time, where I could instantly receive all tech, if I wanted to. Which gives you level 5 in nearly everything at the beginning. Whenever you find upgrades, it adds to it. I think it goes all the way up to 10 on most of the upgrades. Maybe even higher, I'm not totally sure. Up to 4 on Krogan Vitality and Geth shield strength, I think. As you've seen before york, there appears to be two upgrades through that mod, that we haven't seen yet.yorkj86 wrote...
I wonder what this new research is. Just new damage/duration bonuses? If they keep stacking higher numbers, I'd imagine that this would take place after the events of ME2.

That picture of Samara is great. There's something a little off about her face, though. It looks a little...contorted, as if it's being twisted to one side.

Unless they brought back all the VA's, I don't expect much interaction between Liara and the ME2 squaddies... but I'll be happy if they bothered.

I'm planning on getting it, as much as an excuse to run another playthrough with Samara as out of interest to see how this extra party member will be handled in terms of games mechanic (the screenshot with Garrus and Tali has piqued my interest). Will Liara be a controllable squadmate, or will she be AI controlled? That's what I'm curious about; it may give us a clue as to how ME3 could manage any returning ME2 squadmate.

And that's why we have fanfiction. Well, it's one reason, anyway. We also have it so we can put Captain Kirk in the "Twilight" setting, for some reason. I'm serious. It exists. It shouldn't, but it exists.

Hm. That was alright. People sure do like to show Samara either giving in to her impulses (which I don't particularly like), or doing something slightly out-of-character, in order to help Shepard. She states herself that she believes people's personal problems are their own to deal with.

I think it is supposed to be a buff to the caster classes... so you can use powers against classes with defenses up (supposedly).

Therein lies the fundamental problem with writing a Samara romance, to me, atleast. It seems like you would have to push Samara into it, despite all her convictions, and it doesn't seem right. Even in fanfiction.
I don't think I'd be good enough to overcome that block, although I know a certain little fan girl who has the potential....
