Yeah, I liked that to.eternalnightmare13 wrote...
Personally, I really liked the part where she says your a good friend and can call on her at anytime for aide if ya'll live thru the suicide run. She seems to genuinely like/respect Shep and the talks up to that point. She's not fatalistic about her own life as she was earlier. I hope she either comes back as a squaddie for the entire game of ME3 or at least have one mission you can do with her.

Actually early indications may be that they will not bring in any new characters but focus on the ME1 and ME2 ones.
During the panel BioWare gave some insight into what areas they will be
looking to expand upon in Mass Effect 3 with two seperate list:
We Should Keep:
Listening to reviews and fans,
Gameplay Focus,
Same team,
Core gameplay
Combat-narrative flow
We Should Improve:
Richer RPG Features,
More Combat Options,
More Complex Enemies
Polish Everything
Very encouraging indeed... glad the folks at BW have been listening.
If that is what we are thinking that is really really good news! But are you sure they dont mean the same team developing the game, or is that stupid since they have already started the game.... yeah actually i think that the prior makes more sense thank goodness!

Sorry JD, I thought you were asking my opinion on the music track Shepard's Death on the OST...JohnnyDollar wrote...
@Flamewielder
That was neat what you wrote up there, but I am little confused.
Which part are you talking about? I was talking about that video
that I posted the link to where Samara nearly gives in to
Shep and tells Shep "another time....another life"
Ashira was asking us about our thoughts as to what
would Samara say if Shep counters by saying:
"I'm already on another life"
Or maybe I am just mixed up.
What I meant was that if you watch the complete video scene of Shepard's death, it starts off with the musical piece "The End Run", and ends with the "Shepard's Death" piece. So in my mind the two separate tracks are actually one scene.
I was also adding to a discussion on the topic of wether Samara still had something to offer in ME3. I believe she does, and wrote that little scene to illustrate one of the possibilities (i.e. Samara dying heroically saving a paragon Shepard at the conclusion of ME3, wrapping up a "platonic romance" between the two; with Samara voicing her true feelings as she throws Shepard and Ashley to safety, alluding to the "another time...another life" quote).

I would like to see Bioware develop ME3 with DirectX 11 capability. If they don't, then that will be a bummer. I would think that they would though. DX11 has been out since Win7 was released. ME3 isn't releasing till when 2012? I got a DX11 capable GPU, so bring it on.
They might... but I don't think they'll change much since it will have to run on XBox360. I play on an XPS laptop with an NVIDIA 7950 card and I really rather not have to purchase a new one to accomodate DirectX11...

I have heard this from several people, but what makes you think that you wouldn't start off in ME3 at entry level with the import?Flamewielder wrote...
Another reason to believe they will not make major changes to the games mechanic is the level 30 cap of ME2... You start off ME3 with your level 30 imported ME2 character or start afresh with a level 25 character. Answer a couple of critical questions, assume everyone made it for a new character and voilà!

Well they can make it DX9 and DX11 capable. Look at Dirt2 as one example.Flamewielder wrote...

"Same team" is kind of vague. I think it's referring to the same development team.
I think this is the case. The fact that the presentation the "same team' tidbit comes from was shown at a developers conference implies this further.

Flamewielder, that little piece was...sniffle worthy just in writing :

I think she'd answer something along the lines of her original intention. I don't think she'd be in any mood for anyone, even not Shepard, to be dense and clever with her, considering the awkward situation he just put her in.
"I'm already on my second life."
"I have yet to meet with the Goddess, Shepard. Perhaps, after we are both long gone."
It's nothing fancy. This is a reference to the prominent Asari religion, Siari, where all energy eventually recycles back in to the universe, consciousnesses included.
I've been tempted to write some Samara and Shepard fan-fiction. Nothing sexual. I've already written a short scene that takes place after the suicide mission, where Shepard implores Samara to stay, without showing too much of his interest for Samara.
