So...
***SPOILERS***
I think that the conversation we read, between Samara and her two other daughters, is heart-breaking. Her heart is in the right place, and she's doing whatever she has to do, in order to resolve the situation with Morinth, but she's tearing her family apart in the process. What's worse, she probably knows that she's tearing her family apart, but she proceeds anyway. One of her daughters is clearly angry at her for this, and for devoting herself so fully to the Justicar Code. Samara really is a tragic figure. i hope people can appreciate her character more, after reading the SB's info on her.
Samara's not a sociopath. She's not a psychopath. She's not indifferent. She's not emotionally sterile. She suffers, and has her doubts, but she keeps them inside, because she thinks that she's doing the right thing.

She bequeathed her Bondmate Ceremony dress upon becoming a Justicar. I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for her. She really was giving up absolutely everything of her old life, and yet, she was using her old life as her reason for entering in to this new life.
I wonder what the Oath of Solitude is. Is it simply cutting off all ties to everyone from one's old life? Does it involve something else, like ritual? Maybe extended solitary meditation? I wish I knew more.

- Samara's verbal justification of why she took this path
I think she said something to the effect of "I cannot unleash her (morinth) on the world and pretend I owe her victims nothing"
Boy o boy, what a loaded quote. This pretty much confirms that Samara is a paragon with a rightious conscience. And that she feels an overwhelming guilt and a deep inclination to be out there for all the mothers who will lose their daughters to Morinth, all the people who will lose their family members to an Ardat Yakshi. She has put herself in everyone elses shoes but herself if you think about it, she would want someone to be out there hunting this demon down, to bring it to justice. And its tragic but cruelly fair that the person that concieved this demon is the one who has to do it, because she's strong enough to do it. She's not weak. Part of it is guilt, part of it is pride. Part of it is doing what's right.
- Identity and personality of the daughters, plus Morinth's real name
Falere and Rila right? I'm guessing Falere is the older one, who did the most talking. She is the "reasoning" kind, pretty much trying to talk her mother out of it. Rila is the younger one who really doesn't understand why she has to do it, but is mature enough to let her go, even though it pains her. She cuts the transmission in a somewhat immature way, also signalling her youth and innocence, as if at this point shutting her out of her life is going to do her any good. All in all, I'm not surprised the daughters don't really understand it, and also the fact that Samara had to talk to them from a communication node, and not face to face. "If I came to you I would never leave". Its too painful I suppose for Samara to come so close to her daughters to say goodbye, she's better off knowing their safe some place, and they know what she must do. Samara isn't being a good mother, she's being something more.
Oh and "Mirala"? Me and Ashira figured "Karina" was better
- Her "final" conversation with her daughters?
I'm pretty sure that was it. Maybe she does check up on them from time to time, or maybe she's forsworn it until she kills Morinth. Which makes me think another out for her in ME3 would be to go back to her daughters to reconnect, although she's sworn to die as a Justicar.
- Steps into becoming a Justicar: First Oaths of Solitude
Oaths of solitude come first, I think after this Samara cannot think of herself as part of a family, or even cater to freinds. I think the Oath of solitude is about accepting your duty as wholly impersonal, and that even though you are bound to speak to people and even make companions, you are always prioritizing your duty over personal needs. A steep price indeed. Though Samara has found a "friend" in Shepard, I wonder how the Third Oaths overlap with the first in terms of companionship.
- Samara's worldly possessions ranging from personally significant to amusingly trivial
She really did have to give up everything, and when you say everything you really don't think about everything. Such as heirlooms and gifts. The coffee mug with "worlds best mom" on it...was broken, perhaps by Morinth before she fled? Someone tried to glue it back....kind of a sad sentiment. Some nice bit of trivial things too, like her 1st place trophy and dancing dresses
And not to mention that awesome vid of her chasing that women down in Illium
Who was that?
Anyway, that's just what I think

I hadn't thought that Morinth might have broken the mug.
Samara really did give everything up. I wonder if she doubted her resolve, while she was cleaning up her home, finding things to bequeath, and things to throw out.

Makaveli, I haven't seen that video of Samara chasing someone down. What was the species of the person she was chasing? What did she do to the person when she caught him/her?
It comes up the third time you go to the video booth. She's chasing a human, and walking rather calmly with biotics all around her as that person is running for her life. Then the lady gets into a cab and lifts off, but Samara just walks up and makes a biotic fist causing the cab to overload in the air. Then we get a close shot of Samara's merciless face

The close up on Samara isn't very flattering.

Also, I found the Tela Vasir fight somewhat harder tactically than the Shadow Broker (Vanguard on Veteran), although I only died once against the SB and didn't die against Tela. How did everyone else do?

My vanguard... when he got her down to health... I just floated her around the map with pull field. That is a wonderful power because if it is the last enemy you can float them around the map indefinitely.

Just noticed Morinth has no dossier. Shame. Anyway, bored, so, here's Samara's...
Dossier: Justicar Samara
Asari Justicar. Rigidity of Justicar Code makes her movements and mission outcomes predictable. Mother to three Ardat-Yakshi, one of which remains wanted for murder in Citadel Space.
Transmission Log
Transmission Log, 1755 CE
Samara: I have called you together to ask something of you. It is not a small thing, but it is for the best. Rila, Falere, are you receiving this?
Falere: Quite well.
Rila: [Indistinct]-s, Mother.
F: We're in the common room, her communicator's too near the door. [Door shuts.] Try now, Mother.
S: This news would be best delivered in person, but I am not allowed to travel before tomorrow. I have something I must do. It is hazardous, and thus I must do it alone.
F: What do you mean, hazardous?
S: Tomorrow I take the Oath of Solitude. It is to prepare me for the other oaths, but it means--
F: You what?
S: It is an oath required of all who--
F: I know what it means, Mother! I'm forty-two years old, I have heard of justicars.
S: Then... do you understand why I must do it?
F: No.
S: The life of a justicar is dangerous. I will make enemies, and they would seek to use you-
F: That I understand! What is not clear is why you do this in the first place. Is it not enough that we live a hundred light-years away from you in a dank fortress? That we have no communicator of our own but must use this communal one? Do you know what it means to us to hear your voice?
S: I am sorry, Falere.
F: And now you take that away.
S: That is wounding, but it is the truth. I wish there were some other path.
F: And you called us instead of coming to see us.
S: If I came to see you, I would never leave. You know what that would mean.
F: Is she that terrible, Mother? Is she so much of a menace that you would deny us ever seeing you, ever hearing your voice again?
S: My dear... I cannot lose [sic] her on the world and pretend I owe her victims nothing. Her crimes are my crimes. In time you may see as I do.
F: Time is a weak salve for a fresh wound.
S: Please... do not let anger ruin this. We will have our lives to contemplate pain and loss. Can we not see from one another's eyes, just for a moment?
F: (silence)
S: Falere?
F: I don't want to lose you, Mother. Not over someone as small as Mirala, or whatever she calls herself now.
S: And Rila? You have been silent. Are you in accord?
R: I can only say I will yearn for you too.
S: Surely you have more than that.
R: Is this the only way you will have any righteousness, Mother?
S: It will let me live a just life.
R: Then the Goddess forbid I take it from you.
[Rila terminates call.]
F: She loves you, Mother. She did not say it, but she does.
S: And you? Can you understand why I must do this?
F: Catch her. Just catch her.
[Falere terminates call.]

Morinth: He says his is surprissed about the Justicar's involvement due to her change of... priorities (or something similar.... but obviously referencing that he knows it is Morinth).
