I thought Terraneaux admitted to liking to troll the Samaratans, though. He admitted it right here in this thread. Am I remembering that correctly?

Was he the same one who said the Asari were racist for not letting non-asari in the Justicar ranks?

And also commented on Samara's clothing along the lines of "what do male Justicars wear? Just enough to hide the tip of their ****?"

I could be wrong... :bandit:

As for the romance, it's my belief that most people go "Hey look, asari with huge boobs! Virtual sex time." and skip through her dialogue. And when she rejects you they go " She doesn't give herself up to Shepard, she's cold and unfeeling!"

That's my opinion anyway ^_^

It's sad, but that's pretty much an acurate reaction <_<

I had mixed feelings, but I was just sad :crying:

And then follow my many one-shots :P

Ah, no, Terraneaux is a little more subtle than that.

I think the Samara misunderstanding is based on her missions and the lack of a romance.

In her missions, she is shown as a ruthless hunter, trying to kill her own daughter for having a disease. If the player decides not to delve any deep than that, they won't figure out the justifications for it.

As for the romance, it's my belief that most people go "Hey look, asari with huge boobs! Virtual sex time." and skip through her dialogue. And when she rejects you they go " She doesn't give herself up to Shepard, she's cold and unfeeling!"

Yeah... that too...Posted Image

As long as there are breadth requirements, they will be people wasting their time in humanities courses!

Ahh... but when it comes to discussing Samara, it is time well wasted indeed! Posted Image

A world full of scientists is a boring world indeed.  Besides, even doctors can enjoy the "wasteful" things.

I think this one is spectacular. The face is one of the most accurate I've seen.

I haven't been to that thread, but you can always mention the orphans of the town Morinth sacrificed. That should show them who's evil. =]

They see Samara as no better because she made them orphans.

And apparently Samara is a sociopath.

The only thing these conflicts accomplish is to show that Bioware did something right when writing Samara and Morinth.

Well then they are just being thick headed. Probably hating on Samara for the reasons I stated in my post earlier.
Morinth hunted people dammit. How does that make Samara bad? Once Morinth escaped, she didn't have to seduce and kill them.

Another post reminded me of this unanswered question. Does the code have levels of punishment? If someone jaywalks (if that even exists in the future, with flying cars and all) does she have to kill them? I would think not. What would happen in that situation? Would she turn them over to the authorities, or just consider it "below her paygrade?"

It doesn't say anything about that.  I don't think that it's the place of the Justicar to punish minor infractions like jaywalking and speeding, though.  Critics of Samara and the Justicars seem to forget that Justicars have objectives.

That's what I thought too. SInce their crimes are victimless, they are probably considered innocents by the code.
