No, but she's probably not supposed to discuss such things.

To those interested (which I assume is most people on this board), there is an interview just released between Rana and gamefret.com. Link is here:

Thank you Rana for being such as sport and coming on these forums!

I also hope that that you don't mind having to send a signed copy of your photograph to England!

Is it just me, or did it seem that, of all the characters, Samara had the best eyes, hands down? Not just the way they looked (they certainly nailed that piercing, look-into-your-soul effect), but I didn't notice one glitch with the eyes doing weird, funky stuff during cutscenes, as I would see with many other characters, like Shepard or Miranda, especially.

I wonder if they got lucky, or if they put extra effort into making sure Samara's model didn't have any of that glitchy eye stuff going on?

Nope, it's not just you.  Samara has extraordinary eyes.  They seem to have put a lot of effort in to making sure her eyes don't do the derpy Virmire-survivor-on-Horizon thing.

Now I'm probably biased in saying this but Jack wins hands down as the character with best eyes.

I think Samara has the best-looking face in the series so far. Both aestheticsly and detail-wise.

My god, I withdraw to write a paper and the face of Samara shows up on our thread. Just another reason to really dislike the Romance of Tristan and Yseult. If you're still there, hello from another fan!

This photo is making me even more happy that Rana will be cosplaying Samara. :) As awesome as the costume is, the eyes are what makes this character, and Rana is the only one who can pull that off. Go Rana! :)

Rana's eye color is quite rare, I think.

I thought her eyes were ice blue?

Those are grey eyes->

For some reason people think mine are either blue or grey. Or a mix of both, depends on the lighting apparently.

In other news, does anyone know (or has tried) running through missions in ME2 after having "replaced" Shepard with Samara? For the lulz of course :P

Maybe not, but I certainly don't think that they are common, either.

<<-- gonna lose some points for this but no, I haven't played the first one! It's pretty surreal to see my face in the video game especially since it's not my voice.. and of course the fact that I'm blue!

I think Samara is amazing too! (all parts combined) Thank you!!

Rana, do you want Samara to be a love interest in the next game? ^_^

I think that would make a lot of people very happy! :D

She has been answering questions... we should ask our friendly neighberhood Justicar is her eyes are grey or blue.  So... Rana... are your eyes grey or blue?

In all seriousness, if the writers are up to the task, it could be something really special. :o

Serendipity is a wonderful thing... Wonderful people make wonderful characters. I pleasantly surprised to see Maggie shared Rana (and Samara's) eyes and statuesque features.

Rana appeared optimistic about Samara's chances of returning for ME3 (in the podcast), we'll be looking forward to it... ^_^

I can't see how any of the squad mates wouldn't be in ME3. ME2 is just too focused on those characters for them to cease to matter in the next game. It would be as if the only thing that really mattered in the second game was blowing up some random Collector base. Like that really dealt the Reapers a crippling blow? Not bloody likely. No, ME2 felt too much like a setup for ME3 for them to wipe the slate clean and start over with all-new people by Shepard's side. And since Samara is the 'Jedi' of this game, she HAS to be there. Like she's going to go back to chasing asari serial killers when the entire galaxy is being threatened? Pfft, that has Greater Good written all over it.

Yes.  ME2 already feels disconnected enough from the main plot.   Having the ME2 squad absent from ME3 would make ME2 out to be a total waste of time, for Shepard & crew, and for the player.
