Here's a question. Do you guys reckon biotics give off enough light to glow in the dark?



I mean we see Samara's eyes glow, but I was never clear on what was going on there. If someone would like to explain, if they know



But yeah, the above question. Mostly came to mind because I had a scene in my head for a feature story where a character is kind of slumped on their knees in the dark, waiting for the other characters to arrive, and when they do, she "lights up" as such.

That's what I meant. Do the mass effect fields biotics use generate light. Not biotic users themselves, that would be...odd. XD

I have many ideas of Samara fanart, most of them not feasible, but I remain unsatisfied with some of the concepts, or lack thereof, that have been explored with the character. Your commissions, York, not included. But here's some I'd like to see...

- The bout with Samara and Nihlus. Perhaps the conclusion, with them standing off, at the point where Samara realizes she cannot pursue further as Nihlus hangs the life of an innocent in his grip.

- Samara, bruised and bloodied some, over barren land, perhaps after an ardous fight, sitting and meditating to ease her stresses.

- Samara floating via biotics over the spared village children that Morinth brainwashed, as if looking over them.

- Samara at her Justicar Inauguration, getting sworn in with fellow Justicars and trainers standing around her

- Samara lecturing the slaves she freed from a Collector ship, on the Citadel.

- Samara picking up her broken "world's best mom" mug, in the distance a shadowy figure (ambigious whether it is Morinth or Samara's "partner") walking out the door

It all happened on the mercenary ship, the Collector Ship was merely there trying to catch them. It gave up when they reached the Mass Relay.

I'd like to see a pic of Samara in the midst of battle. A Tempest sub machine gun in each hand, gunning down multitudes of armored Blue Suns.

I read too many comics.

No she didn't, she just mentioned that she belonged to a mercenary company and that though she made some questionable decisions she never did anything patently unjust.

I think the mug scene would be a good one, it's very evocative of what happened in her life.

I honestly think Samara's partner was dead either by the time the diagnosis was made or by the time she became a justicar.

I just don't see having a memorial sphere for your bondpartner when it's a divorce.

I wasn't implying that the partner "walked out" at that point however, she could simply be going out to "search" for Morinth, orit could be any of the other daughters depending on the viewers interpretations. Its probably moreso implied that it could just be Morinth. But there is someone walking out, and its not clear who, that's what makes intriguing imo

EDIT: maybe a shadow silhouette of the person would make it more interesting

I imagine the weary slaves huddled close around Samara as she glows in biotic flares (that is a must for any Samara fanart ) and has her hands gestured as if saying something. Not finger wagging though, but something that shows she's being diplomatic yet firm with them.

But doesn't Liara say they often separate after they have children?

I have a new one-shot series coming up, but Shepard and Co. are only peripherally related so it's not really relevant for chatter in here. Will still post the link for people to read if you're interested though.

Mordin interrupted her meditations one too many times...

ALSO! No one answered my question before. Has anyone tried or thought about doing that hack/mod think with the ini-file (not sure, confusing hacking is confusing) where you replace Shepard's model with one of the Squad Members model? More to the point, with Samara? For the lulz and extra screenshots.
