I never get my hopes up for stuff like this, but even if I did, I think it's still too early to have them dashed. We still have ~8 months to go. That's quite a ways off.Flamewielder wrote...
It's nice they at least brought
Garrus back as a squaddie. Still, I'm hopeful for Samara as a
single-mission temp squaddie on Thessia.

If I can simply finish my Shepard's story then that's great. Them not handwaving Samara out of the way will be a very big plus.

You have to use the [.img] and [./img]and tags (remove the periods) before and after each image you want to show in your signature. For that last picture, you have to upload it to an image upload site, like tinypic. You can't display an image right off of your computer.

C'mon people... don't let the lack of Samara in GI get you down. Bump for the love!
Perhaps Samara will have some sort of pull in Asari society when Shepard needs to recruit them? perhaps put a good word in for him.

Ah yes, consequences for "big decisions". I've heard this hype from EAoware before. I'll believe it when I see it. If it happens, then great.yorkj86 wrote...
Would the asari tell Shepard to get lost, if he recruited Morinth? Samara does say "You will regret this." Consequences! Bioware stated that there would be multiple ways to get a species' "loyalty," but perhaps recruiting Samara (and maybe having her survive the SM) will make it far easier to convince the asari.

I was studying emotions neurologically and found it embedded into the very fabric of our brains, and its evident that emotional reactions primarily steer our moral judgments, despite the cold efficiency of logical decision making. Its the thing that makes humans humans after all, and I'm not sure if Asari as Matriarchs even have that, seeing as how they get to have a hundreds of years of experience to see long term repercussions and wild exceptions to their methods.
It is safe to say the little emotional reactions Samara gives us in ME3 are ones to cherish, given how little she travels with companions and the nature of her work. It's definitely not feasible to see her through human eyes, the acutely concentrated passion of her duty truly only requires her to see through these *___* eyes.
*___* be with you all, Samaritans.

A nice cameo like Wrex's in ME2 is probably the best we'll get... but I'm still hoping for a brief "temp squaddie" return in ME3 in some sort of "asari-recruitment" mission. We'll see soon enough: it's already mid April and production is well-advanced... Wonder if Maggie Baird Tweets as much as Seth Green or Tricia Helfer?

It seems the most likely scenario. Samara doesn't enjoy the almost universal appeal of Garrus (and he 's always been one of the "poster boys" of the franchise), so I'd be pleasantly surprised (read: jumping for joy) if Samara came back as a full squaddie, but I doubt it.

I sure hope we get something, but I'm afraid all the people who **** and complain that she's a psychopathic murderer will get their way. I guess that's most of the same people who think Ash is a racist....

Don't forget the religiousness. It's cool if aliens are theists, but human theists are total lamewads.
I still think my idea about Samara being able to work for Shepard, in getting him/her asari support, is a good idea.

I'm a firm believer that it isn't the theism, it's how it was presented. Liara always exclaims "by the goddess" and Samara is of course theistic but neither of these characters actually give you the option to judge them.
For me at least, being an atheist who lives peacefully with his christian parents, its the "This isn't a problem is it Shepard" question that was bad.
