I perceived Asari mind-joining to be the duplication and "wireless"  transmission of neural activity by the Asari's brain.  Once there's nothing to duplicate, the "carrier" is lost, or the Asari decides to terminate the mind-joining, the "signal" is lost.  I don't think it would be dangerous, it would just cause the Asari a bit of a shock.

Either way, technicalities are typically thrown away or discarded when dealing with such tender romantic notions.

I'm partial to Samara's strawberry suit. The black-and-gold suit gives the "derp Morinth mind-controlled you to see what happened in her apartment, Samara is actually Morinth, even if you chose Samara" crowd ammo. I don't give idiots ammo.

I like the red suit and the suit design in general, but black is my favorite color.

I would like to see her in something metallic or silvery. I know it's campy, but when I first saw her, I felt like she left the impression on me of some kind of superhero. A deeply principled, elegant superhero, but a superhero nonetheless.



I have been reading the comments about jedi versus justicar, and you do have good, solid points. She did make her choice, and romance has only resulted in disaster for her. It wasn't her fault, of course. Was good to see her find some peace once Morinth was taken care of.

This is the line that tells me Samara's relationship with a paragon Shepard may evolve in ME3 from friendship to a (hopefully) mature romance once she's had time to make her peace with the loss of her bravest daughter. I, for myself, would have probably acted the same way had I just lost a child. If BW choses to take Samara in that direction, they better make it good...Posted Image

Me, I just ignore idiots... Sooner or later they fall into open manholes while haranguing you about trivia instead of watching where they're going. Posted Image I know, I'm cruel that way... call it a renegade streak in my generally paragon outlook on life...

I prefer black and gold for my favorite Justicar. And I think it a sober, fitting color for mourning her child.

You probably simply don't get any romance cut-scene, but I've never tried it.

I did this on my main playthrough. You don't get a cutscene. It skips to going through the Omega-4 Relay.

I like that in this scene Shepard looks almost irrelevant, as if in the presence of something he finally can't control. But ofcourse our hero got to choose their fate. I would have thought that letting a renegade Shepard lose Samara would have been a striking narrative of the where certain paths can lead us. But apparently even the most renegade Shepard can choose to keep Samara over Morinth, I guess karma didn't come into play. What do you guys think? Should the playable hedon be able to stand beside the seeker of justice?

Ah, that's disappointing.  In a way it's like saying that your interaction with her didn't matter.  I wonder if it causes your photo of Ash, Kaidan or Liara to be facedown- haven't ever bothered to try it when I found out that you couldn't so much as kiss her.

Yeah I am pretty sure that is it.  Unless Bioware pulls a trick on us and we find out in ME3 than Samara is Shep's new LI because Shep had no other LI's and we attempted it with Samara.  I  highly doubt that though.  That would be one heck of a surprise though wouldn't it?

Well if you didn't have an LI from ME1, then their is no photo AFAIK.  If you did have an LI, then I don't think it affects the photo either.

I am of the opinion that even a renegade should pick Samara.  Think about it,would you want a serial killer on your ship with all of your squadmates and crewmembers ripe for the picking?
Garrus:  Hey Shep I here we picked up another biotic, that is interesting.
Shep:  Yeah, it's interesting alright.
Garrus:  Well where is she gonna bunk at?  We are nearly out of room?
Shep:  I think we keep her in the brig Garrus.

I thought that if you romance no one, and go through the Omega-4 Relay, Miranda comes to wish you good luck at the star map before the mission starts.
