Appreciate that. I just haven't got around to it.adriano_c wrote...
By the way, JohnnyDollar, I assume you're taking screen captures manually? If so, I suggest you get FRAPS, as you can both record video or spam for screenshots.

What I find funny about those who complain about Samara's "body count" is that the same people gloss over ol' Garrus's 2 years of rampaging vigilanteism on Omega...Zombie Hunter 0 wrote...
Samara may have killed a lot of people, but chance are they probably deserved it. Too often I hear people not liking Samara because she kills too much, but nothing about why she may have done it. Removes the criminal element no?
Despite being highly disciplined though its got to be psychologically tough to do what she does. Anyone else wish for a paragon interrupt hug option sometimes? Especially after the loyalty mission when you talk to her she says in that sad tone "I am so proud of her."?

How? If you don't mind explaining. From what I had heard, you had to have DA. I would like to put up a custom avatar. Or do you mean you have to have a friend with DA?kelmar6821 wrote...

I heard a remark in a movie that boiled down to: "at this age(i.e. old age), you're entitled to have as little patience as you want"yorkj86 wrote...
Trying to write dialogue for Samara is challenging and fun. She's always deadpan-serious. I like to think that she betrays her true meaning by subtle cues in her physical behavior - in her facial expressions and in her body language. I've said it before, and it's still true: A smile from Samara means a lot, and even more so because she's very precise and conservative with her words. You won't get very many conversations out of her. I feel as if have a limited number of characters (letters) to use in writing her lines, and it's great.
Compare that to Tali's fawning and prattling, and... :innocent:
I'm thinking that Samara, getting close to 1000 years old, would have long ago dispensed with idle chatter, making her a woman of few words and direct action. Courteous but to the point in her dealings with other. That would fit with her knee-jerk rejection of a pity she may have perceived as "faked" at the time.
Consider this: Samara knows Shepard needs her for his mission, that's the only reason he looked her up. Shepard's only known her for a couple of days an yet sympathizes over her loss? We can't blame Samara for not assuming Shepard's words were heartfelt...
Fortunately, sharing a few more missions with Shepard helps her accept that Shepard's the genuine article, not some "fake" hero...

A friend with DA.
Go to his house.
log in to your social on his DA game
create new character
replace documents>bioware>dragon age>characters>xxx>xxx_portrait.png with your own 146x146 png image renamed to the same thing
alt tab back into Dragon age and wait for DA to upload to your profile.
he can even delete the save later, but if you log into his DA with your social again, it might remove the the character and avatar from your social. I'm not sure, but if you only need to get custom avatar once, it's irrelevant.
edit
if DA:O ever gets to the 25$ range i'll definately pick it up anyway.

Thanks for the tip. Well going over to a friends house that has DA is highly unlikely in my case, but thanks for explaining it.kelmar6821 wrote...

I bought ME1 for $19. I am waiting on DA to drop too. I am pretty picky when buying games these days. I have bought quite a few in the past in the 30-50 $ range and didn't care for them. So unless I have a pretty good indication that I will like it, then I will wait for the price to drop. I liked ME1 so much that I didn't mind preordering ME2 ce for the price. Don't know if I will preorder ME3 or not.
