I really don't like the word "support" either, but its familar. You go too obscure and people don't know what the hell your trying to communicate. Appreciation, is an alterative. Those were just ideas to give those of you that want start a new thread a kick to get your creative juices following. Me, I really don't care. As stated, odds are I won't be coming to these forums anymore soon.

I say give her a little time (couple days or so?), and if she doesn't respond then we decide what we want to do.DirtyVagrant wrote...

I'll try to do that. It's just that once I move on from a game I tend not to look back unless there is another version of it. Plus, I have a couple guides(another site) that I have to keep an eye on elsewhere. If I get too involved with anything beyond those I can forget about them, and there is no one to answers questions for those people then. *always feels like an ass when he gets pm 2 months late*

Well don't forget about ME3 now. Still plenty of time before this trilogy ends. Honestly I am a little burned out on the game(ME1, ME2) my self. If there was no ME3 on the horizon, then this forum wouldn't be much fun at all to me.volly0071 wrote...

I'm not sure if ME2 has much "staying power", apart from whatever bloated value the romances add to the game.

We need to come up with topics to talk about IMO. They don't necessarily have be specifically concerning Samara IMO. If we could do that, then this thread may take off a little more. I am not saying that we completely derail the thread, but some ME talk mixed in with fellow memebers that like the Samara charcter wouldn't hurt IMO. As long as the thread isn't getting trolled and spammed to death, and eventually gets back to Samara intermittently or more so, then I don't see what it would hurt.yorkj86 wrote...
I really wish Samara had more dialogue. I hate seeing the thread slip back, and I hate not having much to talk about.

Might as well rename the thread "Chatroom for Samara fans" at that rate, then.
Personally I enjoy reading threads that are mainly on-topic, rather than having to sift through mindless stuff that in all probability doesn't interest me.
I mean, really, I click on a 'Samara thread', for example, because I want to read about the character, not what someone had for breakfest this morning.

I just want to get a sense of where everyones at, i believe it was a good idea to make her non-romanceable in ME 2, but it should happen in ME 3.

I'd only be for it if the job was done competently, and if the romance never became...carnal. Physical, non-sexual intimacy would be best, I think.

I'm commissioning a picture of Shepard and Samara. There'll be other Justicars present in the picture. It would probably just be easier for the artist if they were to all be wearing the same outfit, but I just wanted to hear what other people think. Speculate/fabricate away!

I would like to see a picture of her with a different outfit. As far as the other Justicars go, I am guessing that they do not wear the same uniforms, but are instead all unique.yorkj86 wrote...
The players are given no precedent on the matter, but I was wondering if people think Samara's outfit is "standard" for Justicars, or if Justicars even have a dress-code.

I don't think they'd have a particular dress code per se, but perhaps more of a style of dress common to them? Samurai, knights-errant, whatever else Justicars have their roots in, all share the basics (mainly through their armour), but the details separate them I guess.

I guess you have to be amply endowed to wear Samara outfit, it would fall off me.

I guess that's true, but with Samara, I'm not seeing how her outfit is staying on without falling completely open in the front, or without exposing her.
Miniature mass effect fields! Of course!

Her outfit has a fair amount of ornamentation/tooling. This may be a characteristic of Justicar attire. The specific colors/patterns might vary between individuals but there would probably be basic features common to all Justicars (like her necklace and face decorations). These would be relics of an era when Justicars wore medieval armor and would be recognized by the patterns engraved on their armor, rather like the arms on the shield of our own medieval knights.
And since colors appear to be interchangeable (i.e. alternate outfits), textures, face decorations and necklace engravings would be the key items that would serve to identify a Justicar, as they remain the same for both of Samara's outfits.
Her outfit offers great freedom of movement, no loose sleeves, no bulky armored shoulder pads or chest plates. The armor is probably balistic weave (like under the armpits and behind the knees on the N7 armor), rather than actual plates, hidden beneath the outer, decorative layer. Her plunging neckline is attractive but also suggests a strong reliance on shields, rather than armor. Mass effect shield generators and circuitry would be hidden beneath the armor weave layer.
