I found the voice acting in the final showdown a little odd. When they are deadlocked Morinth's VA delivers the line "I'm as strong as she is let me join you" pretty casually while Samara hits us with the epic "I'm already sworn to you Shepard, let us finish this!". Maybe it was done on purpose to show who's more important to you, but I did find it a little imbalanced acting wise.
I found Morinth's VA to be generally lackluster. Did you like her? Did anyone like her? She did have the voice to pull off the seductress tone-of-voice, I'll give her that.

Speaking of voice acting, who voices Samara?
Maggie Baird. I think she voiced a nun in one of the Vampire: The Masquerade games.

Certainly when compared to Samara's voice actor she was thoroughly outclassed. But it seems like she wasn't given much to work with. I don't like her character that much, I like the idea of an Ardat-Yakshi more than I like the execution of it. The writers prepped her more to play a skilled temptress rather than a brash hedonist.

Well, she has Reave, which is anti-everything, and Assault Rifles, which are decent against everything. I think they found that they had to make the rest of her abilities pretty lame and tame.

Agreed, they need to give her that biotic energy blast that she used a few times against Morinth. I know I would abuse that power.

they should make some more biotic skills unique for the characters, instead of the supposed pwerful biotics having the lame pullyorkj86 wrote...

I actually thought her voice was too much "girl-next-door" especially when compared to Samara. However, that might be the point. I still wasn't impressed.

I did somewhat find it lackluster. I watched a youtube vid of her saying 'embrace eternity' when Shep decided to terminally romance her. The words were almost hollow sounding to me. She does come across as too young also for a 400 yr old Asari.yorkj86 wrote...
