does it matter which charm choice you use on Conrad verner on ME1 to make him survive, wether its renegade or paragon, since i chose paragon charm, and for some unknown reason he says i shoved a gun in his face. that doesnt sound very paragon to me, and i cant recall wat the paragon option does, i thought you just say you need people back home, no gun used. so is his dialogue just set to that in ME2? its not affected by whihc charm you did, just wether you charmed him or not?

Yeah I had the same thing. He said I shoved a gun in his face and I know I didnt. Glad I am not the only person this has happened to.
So yeah is it a bug or what?

Yeah, I heard it's bugged but I just went along with it and shot him in the leg. It's actually funnier this way going with the Renegade option.

i just found it weird, coz i heard somewhere Commander Verner, so i thought he appears like this for the renegade option, hence the gun in face, and he joins and becomes a commander back on earth if you use paragon. but obviously its only a one choice thing, you charm him or not. tho wen he says he learnt how to point a gun, he might refer to the picture

That happened to me too.... so I shot him in the foot I thought that would help jar his memory

Happened to me as well, and from what I read on the ME Wikia site, it seems it was more or less meant to be that way. I think Conrad is just showing off, trying to be hard ass to show off to the bartender on Illium.
Conrad is a real fanboy, but he is really OTT.

I scared him off in one of my play throughs, thus he never showed up in that one.
He did mention something about a gun, but I don't recall doing it... except when he offered for a picture... maybe that is what he meant.

so is everyone experiencing this bug? cause i know for a fact that i chose the paragon option in my main shepard, telling him to go back to earth but in the sequel he basicly says i pushed a gun in his face which is the renegade option. did anyone not encounter this bug who chose the paragon option, and if so what happened? or is it not a bug at all and hes just so stupid that he doesnt remember properly? im so confused, but i want justice damnit. i was nicer to him in the first game then my real life patience would of allowed, yet this is what i get in the sequel? not fair.

I presume they didn't actually save the details of how you treated Conrad and are taking their best guess. You either DID pull a gun on him and you don't notice the discrepancy, or you didn't but can write it off as Conrad being a little off (which he is).

Conrad will be rebuilt by Cerberus for ME3 most likely.

this happens for everyone, i'm not sure if its a bug or not. if it's not, and you chose the paragon path, then he is clearly delusional, but when he says you shoved a gun in his face you should definately have the option to say no you crazy fool, that never happened.

Maybe the idiot took a blow to the head and remembers taking your picture as your shoving the gun in his face?

But him saying you shoved a gun in his face when you didn't makes it all the better to shoot him in the foot.....even as a paragon. "Conrad....let me make this clear. *shoots him in the foot* This is not acceptable.

Shame he doesn't appear when you play the game without importing an ME1 savegame.

Yes, I found that freaking hilarious that I always shoot Conrad in the foot regardless of my character being paragon or not.Nerevar86 wrote...

I think the "you put a gun in my face thing" if you did Para or Rene is ME1 is intended.
In ME1 I did the Para choices and it resulted in him asking to take a picture of me with my gun out. At the time I thought, crap he is so going to photoshop this to make it look like I'm pulling a gun on him.
I think he's just a crazy person that is trying to extort you either way. Either you did pull a gun on him, and he is all pissy about his "hero" being mean. Or you were nice to him and hes really not a fanboi and wants to discredit you.

I had that too, though I distinctly remember being nice to him....
Anyone have that Sirta Foundation terrorist glitch too? I remember saving every drugged research scientist, but the game said they all died

Yup, everyone gets the Sitra Foundation glitch. Apparently the game ****s out to a news report rather than the journal log and Hacket's approval.
