Yeah I'm not sure about that part either.

If you're paragon to him he lives through ME1.

If you're renegade he tries to fight some Turians and they kill him.

So I think in ME2 he's just trying to be tough in front of the bartender and

all that other cool stuff.

But then again the way he described my Shepard wasn't very accurate.

He not only says you shove a gun in his face, but he describes your actions

and they sound renegade?

did u here the intercom saying how he died?

Nope, I assume that is the Renegade result.  I did a Paragon choice and the intercom announced he was creating the "Shepard Foundation" to support veterans.

Which pleased me greatly!

Oh my god! Thank you, people! Now I know I'm not crazy! When he said I shoved a gun in his face I went, "Wait...what?!"

On my paragon playthrough he was all defender of the galaxy. On my renegade playthrough, he was more like:

I'M LIVING ON THE EDGE!!!
I'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE!!!

...so I shot him in the leg.

Ever notice how FemShep feels very Clint Eastwood while male Shepard never manages to get there?

Yup, everyone gets the Sitra Foundation glitch. Apparently the game ****s out to a news report rather than the journal log and Hacket's approval.

THat is the only quest that pissed me off I saved everyone and it goes bankrupt damn you to hell

Hmmm...  My dialog wheel included a [LIE] option and a Paragon option which was to tell him the truth.  Conrad was crushed, but the dialog continued and Shepard soothed him enough to send him on his way happy - and the Shepard Foundation was born!  The dialog went something like this:

"I screwed it up!  I screw EVERYTHING up!"

"You didn't screw up, Conrad.  It's nice to know someone cared while I was gone.  Now that I'm back, why don't you go home and let me handle things from here?"

I was 100 % Paragon with Conrad Verner in Mass Effect 1 and in Mass Effect 2 he behaves like I was Renegade. So yes, something's wrong. And it will surely affect your Mass Effect 3 playthrough too.

Just under the paragon option to lie to him you have a standard option to tell him he was being played. After that you can either tell him "goodbye" or "you're a moron" or Paragon him into thanking him for "holding the fort while you were gone", or Renegade him into telling "You idiot! You wanna make a difference? Stop being something you're not."

Remember : just because you see a paragon or renegade option in the convo doesn't mean you won't get a better one later if you choose another option

Chatting with Conrad in ME2 was one of my favorite scenes. I laughed very hard. I have yet to shoot him, though.

Though I suppose it's been roundly confirmed already here, yes, he remembers your last encounter Renegade-style no matter what you actually did, as long as you used Charm or Intimidate.

On my renegade character I did pull a gun on Conrad and he never showed up. On my paragon character he was in the bar and claimed I pulled a gun on him. As for the Sirta Foundation I saved all the doctors but it still says that the company never recovered. So maybe the game is glitched in a few places. Its still an amazing game.

I'm OK with the Sirta Foundation thing because it isn't necessarily a glitch - the news report didn't say the civilians died, just that the company "never recovered".  Their stock might have tanked over concerns about future terrorist attacks and poor security.

Works for me!

I'm not sure why people are connecting a company 'never recovering from an attack' to 'every civilian dies'....
