How can i get him on my good side without making Morrigan hate me? I enjoyed calling him a Royal Bastard and pretty much insulting him when ever i get the chance, i miss his humour :(

But would that not make my Warden gay? If i keep giving gifts that would make Alistair attracted to me?

How do i give gifts? I got loads of gems but i dont know what to do with them.

You have never given gifts to anyone you didn't want to do the horizontal cha-cha with?

And Ali is straight.

Edit: Select their (recipients portrait and use the gift then. Here you can see who likes what: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Gifts

I dont supposed you know if i screwed myself over for not saving Sten? I spoke to him in his cage and i didnt do his quest, i saved Redcliff and the castle. I cant find his quest in my journal.

I have no idea who or what a Lothering is. I only have the flamboyant ninja Elf, a dog, Morrigan and Alistair.

The town his cage is in.

You didn't get Leliana either?

Sten is darkspawn fodder if left in Lothering. You'll never be able to return to that village, it's deader than a doornail, overrun by darkspawn.

Unless you have a save from before leaving Lothering, there's no chance to get Sten again. (And if you left Leliana there, she's dead too.

Edited:
If you do have an older save and want to use it, remember that you'll have to do Redcliffe again. Check the choices there carefully if you do it again. There's more than one way to skin a cat (sorry cat-lovers ;))

Oh dear.

I don't know who Leliana is and i doubt i said hi to her.

Wow i just lost 2 squad-member's without even knowing.

So is that all the squad members or is there more? I just put in the code for a stone Golem so i guess i will recruit him, is there anyone else?

Lothering is the first town you go to, Morrigan takes you there. If you didn't release Sten from the cage and Lothering has an X on your map - you lost Sten. Certain gifts give that companion more points than others and Alistair only likes women.

Also, if you have a save before you killed the child, there is a way to not have to kill the mother or the child. You might want to try doing it over, and Alistair will approve.

Ummm, unless you're a rogue, you probably want to let Zevran live . . . Just tell him right off the bat that you're straight and you'll be fine.

I did not kill Zevran when he tried to assasinate me.

Ejoslin: does he start flirting with me at the camp? I want Morrigan.

There are a few more you can pick up. The wiki has a 'companion' page, check it out, it tells you a lot of things.

If you kill Zevran, you'll be out of luck. He and Leliana are the only companion rogues in the game. Tell him you are straight, and he'll leave you alone. Yes, Zevran is bi

Leliana should have spoken to you in the tavern in Lothering, although I suppose you could bypass the tavern completely and thus never meet her.

Zevran will flirt with you, but it's very easy to turn that off completely and forever. He is just as good as a friend, so at least talk to him and and give him his gifts.

It's very important that you go into all the places you can, and talk to all the people who will converse with you. It's also a good idea to read things. If you missed what Lothering was, and meeting Leiliana, then you're blowing through the game way to fast. You're going to miss a lot.

This game isn't one you can go through quickly, you'll just spoil the (well, 'an') ending for a more thourough playthrough. It's very important that you have all the conversations, particularly with your companions in camp. It's also important to remember that this game is very different from a FPS. It's as much, or more, about the story as it is about the fighting. You need to get that story to unfold, which means talking and finding things that are important. Also, each of your actions have consequences and will affect the end of the game, as will your relationships with various party members and NPCs. If I were you, I'd start over and take your time.

I am with errant_knight. You are still early enough in the story, you might want to just start over.

(by the way.... about the golem... nvm, enjoy the surprise.)

You might want to get the guide. It's not very good as far as detailed info but at least you'll know where you should be and who you should talk to.If you do the dlc you can do it right after Lothering.Wardens Keep has storage that you'll need.
