While i don't have anything against gay people all i can say: just no. No m/m , no f/f , I couldn't look seriously at Shep even if i wouldn't chose those options while playing - just knowing they're there would fell wrong. >_>

The game is about options, that doesn't mean that for the sake of choice, very basic character trends should be largely altered without prior notice.

Male Shepard is iconic, Mark Vanderloo's face is just an option, since it is impossible to portrait every possible face conceived by the character creator in media, it makes sense to have mr. Vanderloo's face on it, the point still stand, that MALE Shepard is portrayed as iconic and female is not, in a conscious effort by the developers.

Since you seem to have arrived recently, i will say it again, I am not against male/male relationships, I don't hate gay people or gay gamers and I'm perfectly fine and secure of my own sexuality.I respected the M/M option in DA:O and I'm all out for people having more choice=more content=better game, however, I object to the notion of a sudden significant alteration of my male commander Shepard's already established personality in ME3 because it goes against logic and coherence and makes no sense whatsoever, wanted to make him bisexual? fine but do it from ME1 and don't start in ME3.

I wonder why the OP is so afraid. ME is a game that features all kinds of subjects. It ranges from genocide to friendships and anything in between. Homosexuality is just another subject the game covers. F/F is already in the game and BW probably has a good reason not to add M/M. The reason why it is not in there probably has nothing to do with taking a stand or some other vague homophobic reason. It's in DA:O and nobody forced the company to put it in there. A M/M LI wouldn't be my choice, but BW always makes LIs optional. So there is nothing to worry about.
