Just today all of the headings, my updates and others are like this for example: Forum is now pHr00m. Does bioware think thats funny or something?

I take it you don't. Fortunately, you can change the language in the bottom right drop-down.

Because somebody was bored, I reckon. It serves no special purpose. I supposed it might have been used in the testing phase before translating the content to other (real) languages -- cheaper to implement the functionality before the specifics.
