Get it?
Still chances of KOTOR 3 coming are slim.
Edit: Spelling.

Having KotOR 3 would be awesome. Since snd part was a little bit... well, everyone knows how KotOR2 was, the 1st part is still in my top 3 games.

You will get to know that in TOR.

As backstory. Heh.
True, but better than nothing.
Or maybe we will get something along the lines of Session Play in LotRO.
that would be epic.

KOTOR 3 hands down. The "exiles" search for "revan" in deep space to encounter the true sith lords would be a great adventure.
^^^YES!!!
I was vote 123 for KOTOR3 which now has 85% of the vote.
Ever since I started DAO I've been thinking to myself how cool it would be to have the same game but in SW universe, and I'm sure that's what many of the KOTOR3 voters are thinking too. If DA makes $, then surely a KOTOR3 leveraged off DA's design would be a cash cow. How could they not do that?
I will buy TOR and give it a fair try, but my personal experience predicts that I will not like it as much as I liked KOTOR 1&2, ME 1&2, DA etc. When it comes to games, single player games (especially RPGs, big exception being CIV) are what I personally get the most entertainment out of. That's what I want. When I'm gaming it's a solo activity. When I want to socialize, I find it far superior to do that, you know, in person (with actual people).

I view SWTOR as everything KOTOR3 would be plus way more, so it is an easy choice for me.
Even assuming they could put "everything KOTOR3 would be" into TOR, the question is whether the "way more" would add to (or subtract from) the overall experience.
TOR is a test case of whether the two kinds of games can successfully be fused into one. It will be interesting to see the result.

However, lately I've been getting more and more excited about TOR. It looks like it really does have the potential to be a great game, and make almost everyone happy.(Except of course, the people who want to know about noncanonical Revan and the Exile.) But I can overlook that, and enjoy what they do manage. Especially now that I have a greater appreciation for how much work goes into these things.

No thanks, I don't like games that demand so much out of the player that I don't even have time to play other games. I've seen what World Of Warcraft has done to some people and I don't want to become one of those losers who boasts about his armor sets. Unless The Old Republic is vastly different then I'm going to have to give my support for KOTOR III.
