I always install my games in C/! MY_VIDEOGAMES/Bioware/dragon age(NWN1)(NWN2)(MASSEFFECT1)(ETC..
As well as "MY_3D PROGS", "MY Utilities" etc.. And that shouldn't be a problem, and if it is that's the programmers fault, not the end  users! BTW, I detest Default settings,<_< I spend hours customizing my system whenever I install a new OS/Program!

...And yes, I cannot run the fruckin' toolset either!

I found that when I enabled the secondary directory to my documents/bioware/dragonage folder I was able to run it fine..
