When I try to purchase Bioware points I receive the following error:
menu.item.buy.game.points is temporarily unavailable
I've tried several times and always get the same message. Can anyone help?

I had the "menu.item.buy.game.points is temporarily unavailable" all day yesterday, but for whatever reason it worked now today. However I'm still getting the "unable to verify credit card" error.

Been trying to buy points since the game launched and all I get is that error. Some have said its due to server load, so I've tried all hours of the day/night; all resulting in the same error.

If you are recieving the menu.item.buy.game.points error message, please exit the browser, flush it's cache entirely, make triple sure you delete all cookies, and re-try to login into social.bioware.com
It is possible for a small number of accounts that overly strict security settings on your systems/browser can prevent you from accessing points.bioware.com, if the problem continues, clear your cache and cookies, open up your security settings, and re-try the purchase.
If that does not help, please send me your login email and I will look into the accounts once I'm back in the office.

I also keep getting the same error on my browser and upon clicking any button it just sends me back to the profile page. I have my browser set to clear cookies and cache every time it closes so its not that. Please solve this soon as im not impressed with not being able to download content because of faults

I have the same problem, haven't been able to get anything other than that message for days and I haven't changed my email and deleting the cache and the cookies did not work either.

I cant change my credit card type. There is just 'Choose your card type' in list.

Can some developer or someone please get back to us with a fix on this problem, to show such poor customer support response time only a few days after general release is not a good sign of things to come

Hello all, DanKATL gave me some things to try (clearing the cache and so on) but nothing has helped solve this problem, I have since raised a ticket with the main Bioware/EA help desk and they have yet to get back to me. If someone has found a solution to this problem please let us know. Thanks.

Just spoke to someone on the live chat help desk and they said that they are aware of a problem and the engineers are working on it, however they can't say what the problem is or give a timespan for how long the fix will take.

I also had it since I bought the game like 3 days ago. I tried the clearing the cache/cookies, didn't help. Very annoying, hope it gets fixed soon.

Latest is that i cant even load the points page anymore, I click on it and it just links me straight back to my profile. I can honestly say ive never seen such pis poor service by a company

Me too the page doesnt load now. I am really annoyed. It is the first time I want to pay anything and the seller doesnt care. I have tickets opened for almost two weeks without answer.

Ok guys I have solved my problem so thought I would share the info with you in the hope it solves it for you also. I originally tried accessing the points site on multiple computers from multiple browsers and was not having any luck and could not even reach the point site. Due to this I theorised that it was a problem with the account itself and the biggest part of the account was the email settings. I was using the email address provided by my service provider (plus net) with the address format being postmaster@xxxxxxxxxxx.plus.com. I changed my setting to a new hotmail account with the simpler format of xxxxxx@hotmail.com and the account works perfectly now. I have just purchased 560 points and am downloading wardens keep. Hope this helps more people get the site working for them
