Hi all, I'm also on plus net and have an email address that starts postmaster@.... so I have just changed my account email address to an old @freeola.com email I don't normally use. Guess what? Now works fine, I've just bought 560 points and am downloading Wardens Keep.

Still waiting on the APO fix though :(  Basically if you're military and overseas at an APO AP or AE location you can't buy points.

Anyone any suggestions?  Sure would like to get Warden's Keep.  My inventory is ALWAYS full. *sigh*

I managed to buy 400 points, but when i try to use these points to purchase the appearance pack for Mass Effect 2 I get the error message. "menu.item.buy.game.points is temporarily unavailable."

I cannot purchase bioware points for the Kasumi dlc. I attempted with 4 different credit cards, and two different browsers..and attempting every technical fix customer support suggested. They have not resolved the problem for me, and I suspect they have given up.

The $1 charge is a ping charge to ensure the card is valid and verifiable.

If you are having issues purchasing BioWare points from the BioWare store, you can purchase BioWare points from the Origin Store at http://store.origin.com
Currently, there are 2 points packages available:

800 BioWare Points for $10 USD
1600 BioWare Points for $20 USD

Please post back if you have further issues.

I guess it's been a while, and the new price is just a matter of inflation. That doesn't explain, however why on the BioWare store 800 points is US$11 or so and on the Origin store the exact same 800 points is US$13. Is that why the Biopware store won't let me purchase? So that you can make another $2 per customer?

On top of this, these same 800 points are under $10 for people on the PSN. So, exactly what are these points worth? $10 $11 or $13? Because a dollar is always a dollar.

Well, this obviously isn't a priority. OK, how much? How much to get to the bottom of this? God forbid that anything reminiscent of customer support should ever escape BioWare/EA for free. What was I thinking?

I´m triying to buy the points from Origin (both Web page and the program), and its not working either. It give the message "there is a problem and we can not verify your credit card. Try again later", or something like that, and each time i try charge me $1. Fix this problem !!!

Same issue here. Going to Origins does not fix the issue either. It's pretty much a "security feature" to stop account fraud. What I don't get is how is that supposed to protect people in the US from people in the US.

Any word on a fix for this or a work around out there?
