Hey there,

I've tried searching for this all over but it appears that only one other person has come across the same issue.

I completed the game yesterday and wanted to run through it again, using a different class and therefore a different Shepard. I don't want to import any character, I just wanted to start from the beginning, brand new. I don't have any ME1 saves (stupidly deleted them last year), so I can't use them.

Here's my problem,

The game starts, goes into the beginning but a problem occurs during one of the loading screens (I don't want to give spoilers, its just before character creation, just after one of the cutscenes). The screen blinks black and then freezes my game and xbox, not allowing me to back out or go to dashbord, I have to turn off my xbox to do anything. I've tried most of the things that would normally work with this sort of thing, but as its an xbox I don't know what to do short of deleting my old character (the one I just completed the game with) and seeing if that helps, which naturally, is not something I want to do.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? It's quite frustrating.

(PS, I have been able to make a new character by importing the one that I completed the game with without this problem occuring, the trouble is I want to play a different class.)

This happens about 1/2 the time I've tried to make/import characters, which, seeing as its an fairly long drawn out intro with no option to save, it's extremely annoying. I haven't seen anything about this in the stickied topic (but I may not have been looking hard enough).

Well, there's some comfort in knowing I'm not the only one.



So you say that sometimes it does work? I've not had it work once (apart from importing me ME2 character) and I've lost count of the amount of times I've restarted. II was wondering, have you installed the game to your hard drive Skarwael?

Yes, I've installed the game to my hard drive. Recently I've just been messing around creating some characters from scratch. I' ve done that damn intro several times now, and it seems only half the time it's got to character creation without freezing on that loading screen,



Importing characters seems to work fine, as you've said.

Hmm, well I've tried it again, with no luck on getting to the character creation. I wonder if Bioware know about this?

On the 360 if i was offline it froze but if i was online it did not freeze.



side note My DLC works both oflline and online.
