As far as characters, classes, etc go--I trust Bioware and will likely love whatever they roll down from Canada next month.

More balance between Serious characters like Duncan and humorous characters like Alistair as your team companions. I'm being scorned in my other forum, because I notice that unbalance. Humor is great and all in the game, I just think there was too much in the last one.
Yeah. As much as people try and claim that DA:O is a dark fantasy, the atmosphere is hardly ever that grim. I suppose it's dark if you've only seen movies where the hero saves the day and gets the girl, but you never really get a sense of dread other than in a couple of places (i.e. Redcliffe, a certain pre-battle event). I think that a more nihilistic, stoic character would provide a much-needed counterbalance to a goofy, idealistic guy like Alistair. (i.e. sort of like that Legion of the Dead leader, Kardol. Obviously, he won't be the NPC, but somebody with his personality).
But more than anything, I'd like to see a stronger conflict. The darkspawn and the Archdemon were very dull as villains, and I'm hoping that The Architect will provide us with someone we can feel more strongly about. The sentient darkspawn thing is a bit predictable, but the game has potential, and I'm hoping Bio can do something interesting with it.
SPOILER
OMG YES! Sure there are some instense battle where you fear you may die, but I agree, its not that grim. I never got a sense this was a grim scary game either. And yeah I feel the same way about the dark spawn. And whats makes it worse is that the game is more like runnings arons just to at least Fight them. Do this, do that, while were wasting time, well darkspawn spread through most of the land. Plus they were just monsters you had to kill, and thats about it. The side villian characters were more interesting than they were. I'm glad theres a talking one, it adds a good twist and depth towards the darkspawn. In addition, since Ferlden is not united and stuff, theres no time wasted on doing aron crap, now the story can be more focus on the darkspawn. I like were the story seems to be going so far....

But for realities' sake, I want to be able to have new customizations. Hairstyles, capes, better hoods.

Don't think anyone's mentioned this yet, but how about some better bows? My second character was an archer rogue, and the serious lack of bows was a bummer. I would also settle for the ability to add runes to bows--elemental arrows are just prohibitively expensive.
As far as characters, classes, etc go--I trust Bioware and will likely love whatever they roll down from Canada next month.[/quote) Excellent idea!!!!! Rogue (with rapid aim crossbow) 2 runes.... Decent Supporter.

Less redheads. Give us some more tall, dark, and handsome (like Duncan), or some gothy goddesses (like Morrigan). I realize these two NPCS should remain unique, but redheads are seriously overrepresented in Ferelden. Maybe they are saving the land of dark hotties for a future expansion, who knows? Stop the ginger madness, Bioware!
Also- no more clowny mage hats.
yeah agreed:pinched: kinda reminds me of flinstones lol, that hats I mean.
