At first I was on Team Wrex but after actually playing the game I'd say Grunt is cooler. Doesn't have as much depth as Wrex but he's superior in every other way imo.

Still prefer Wrex and his witty lines, but Grunt surprised me in a good way, he is very cool!

Wrex is just a cool old buddy. Feels like a guy you've been through a lot with. Great to visit him again (if he survived ME1).



Grunt just seems like a little kid. He has a lot to learn. He's more as your nephew, and less as your buddy.

I pefer both, But Wrex is jsut to old for combat.

If I had to pick it would be Wrex. But as I got got done with Grunt's loyalty mission, it seemed like he wasn't a just a stupid brute character I thought he was gonna be and I felt like I could talk with him.

Grunt looks a lot cooler in-game than he does in the concept art and CGI trailer. Anyone else notice this? Also, when he first comes out of the tank he's enormous. After that he's the same height as Shepard.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed that.

I really like Wrex...we got along well. Grunt's personality is very entertaining and interesting though. He's a great addition to this game.

I like wrex. Best henchmen I had. He's an old vet, I've learned a lot about krogan race. Grunt is young.. But under my training. He will surpass any krogan ever born. He's a genetic perfect krogan..

They're both good in their own ways but Wrex is probably the coolest Bioware character ever.

I like both, but I would probably gravitate more towards Wrex because as a character he was fleshed out a lot better than Grunt was, and when you do finally get to know him a little you run out of conversation options, which is a real shame.

Grunt is a fledgling that loves to fight. Wrex, idealistic. Which one is more necessary? The baby of the two.

But i like wrex's looks more than grunt. But i like grunts high sense of honor.

Oh, I think Grunt edges out wrex for a squad position. He reminds me a certain supermutant in Fallout universe.

Wrex has a more developed "horn" or whatever keratin type stuff grows over their head to butt people.

I didn't expect much from Grunt, and assumed he would be a stereotypical kill-kill-kill/caveman/badass/tank character. I was pleasantly surprised with his character development in the game, but I still prefer Wrex.

I figured I wasnt going to like Grunt at all but I was really surprised by how cool he was. The hate speeches you get toward the end are cool, when he goes on about how he wants to rend people's flesh. He's like a 13 year old who learned some cool bike tricks and wants to tell all his friends. Except with less bike tricks and more brutal manslaughter.

I have a lot of pity for Grunt. Every other krogan was like, "BOOOOO..."
But now he's kind of at the moment where he's

And it's getting kind of annoying.

But I was a little disappointed with the Wrex Cameo. Wrex is awesome, but he didn't seem very happy or have a lot of time to chat. And he had no reaction to his former partner-in-crime Garrus (I dragged those two sumb*tches into every single battle, god damnit.) That made me kind of sad.

Oh and if the this is about who would win in a fight? Grunt was a good meat shield, but Wrex is a meat shield/biotic, double threat!
