What does grunt say? Rage is my choice, not a sickness? He's even poetic.

Grunt would probably respect Wrex, since Wrex is a friend of Shepard, and Shep is his battlemaster.
Also, I really like Wrex because he is much more coolheaded and tactical over the rest, while still maintaining the brutal power of the Krogan.

If you think Wrex is an idoit, then you didn't play ME1.vhatever wrote...
Grunt is just a kid, but even then he's already smarter than Wrex. Wrex ends up dead because he's an idiot.

Or let him survive to ME2...

More like you didn't play ME1.

Grunt is dammed good, But right now he's more "book knowledge" than "REal knowledge." He's got tons of imprints and raw ability implanted directly into his brain, but he's got a lot of rough edges that only expierence can smooth out. Grunt does have the advantage of foreknowledge though, so with the right reacher (Shepard, Wrex himself, possibly Garrus or Zaeed) that roughness and inexpierence will be taken care of in short order.
In a century or two, I'd easily call Grunt the oneKrogan Wrex would have to be careful of. Right now though, he's a very gifted and capable novice to Wrex being a tryly hardened, knowledgeable and capable veteran.
Were the two to come to blows now, Wrex would completely stomp Grunt into a mudhole. In a couple hundred years, I'll bet Grunt could take Wrex to a draw.

Wrex is a dude who probobly saw pretty much everything you can only hear about. Grunt is the compleate oposite - he's straight out of the tank, doesn't even feel like being a Krogan at first. I think that Grunt was made the oposite of Wrex on purpose - it gives you another look at the Krogan race, another point of viev that allows you to understand them better. Both of them are awesome, and it seemed like Wrex had some plans towards Grunt. Training him for his own successor maybee.
They both rule.
Completely agreed.
ADDENDUM: Your avatar would send the REapers screaming in terror for cover. Shep + Clint? The universe would implode form s singularity composed of pure badass. He'd not have one LI, he's have them all. At once.

Grunt is OK. My first playthrough I found him so subpar I left his loyalty mission for the very end. Second playthrough I did it earlier and found him more interesting. So Grunt is interesting but I just can't take him seriously. He's not Shepard's equal, just a goofy but dangerous sidekick.
So that'd be
Wrex > Grunt.

Wrex is not only interesting but has and a kind of wisdom to him. I see him and Shepard developing a friendship. When Wrex said: "Shepard, my friend!" in ME2 it was by far the best response from any of the former teammates. Just felt genuine.

I think this about sums it up.
Grunt > Wrex

I think that I was just a bit annoyed that I saved Wrex, and he wasn't back on my party. I don't dislike Grunt, I just think that it should have been Wrex there, not a tank-bred baby who doesn't understand the pain of experience. Grunt was born with it all - Wrex had to earn it.

Shepard.
This post wins the thread.
I prefer Wrex. I don't know why, exactly. More than any other character (Garrus perhaps rivals him in this way, but nobody else), he seems like an old war buddy. You can't help but come away from Vermire with respect for the guy. Unless, of course, you're cold ass shot him.

I mean, really, all this about one or the other. Screw all the rest of the crew, I want Shep, Grunt, and Wrex in my party.

Yeah, Grunt looked cool, but I really, really had trouble making sense of his face. It's not that he was ugly, just.... confusing.
Shepard: Wait, is that your mouth? I thought that was your neck.
Grunt: You're staring at my nose, Shepard.
